Just a personal peeve about the artificially inflated prices, or you can pay normal-ish prices if you have the app, I don't want these apps on my phone. Sainsburys does have a good selection, usually more visible staff than some competitors, it's not a bad place to shop.

AVOID THIS PLACE. Get Meal Deals all the time at Sainsbury’s being a worker due to free parking but here I’ve been charged £100. No payment machines signage isn’t exactly clear. From now on will choose a different supermarket and for our shops. Put me right off as Sainsbury’s should make this much clearer. Merry Christmas.

To keep things brief, I'd suggest avoiding this store in the future. It seemed that the parking (Euro Car Parks) appears to be a scam. 1. No clear instructions in the store on how to validate your parking. 2. Additionally, most Sainsbury's stores in the UK, about 99.99%, don't require you to pay for parking before shopping. It might be worth considering these points if you're planning your next visit.

I do enjoy browsing the range of products and services this store offers. They're also trying hard to offer better value prices. Staff are usually helpful. However, shelves tend to be bare around evening and suffers terrible traffic at peak times.

This is a staff complaint, not a product issue. I went into the Dartford store with my 1 year old daughter in my arms to get medicine for her, and as always use the self check out as it is easier and quicker. Scanned my item and machine says need authorisation. One of your staff, a young boy (mid 20s) came over and used his authorisation receipt/code/card to authorise my purchased and muttered under his breath "you could say thank you, instead of having a blank face" I had barely had the chance to even pay before this boy said this. I don't know how you train your staff but this was totally unacceptable, I asked his name and he tried to cover his badge and didn't want to give it, I eventually saw his name "Danny" and explained that I will speak to customer services and a manager. Saying please and thank you is common courtesy however this boy believes he is entitled to these words. If you want thanks and praise at least give a customer a chance to shop first. I want to know how this will be handled as I assume this isn't the 1st and won't be the last time this boy says things. Staff like him should think before they speak especially in a working environment. I did speak to an instore manager but it makes my blood boil to think your employees can speak to customers like this. I want this to be a lesson to your staff and I really want some positive feedback after this.

Clean and tidy with lots of helpful staff but very low levels of stock produce and in some cases no stock at all, left me unable to purchase lots of items on my grocery shopping list.

This is so unfair to the customer. No matter what you,do they charge you for parking. It has made me vow never to shop in Sainsbury Dartford again. I paid the £1.50, shopped above £10 and they still came with the £60.00 fine. A lovely neighbourhood favourite, turned to a bitter memory for most!

Everyone who drives in and parks near by (Priory Centre Car Park) please be careful. I love Sainsbury’s products and went to shop last month. Like other day, I parked in and paid £1.50 on the machine, went in, shopped and handed the parking ticket at the customer service desk and get parking fee returned. After a week I received a Parking Charge Notice of £60. As I handed over my parking ticket to the customer service desk, I did not have solid proof to challenge against it. However, I sent my bank statement arguing that I been to shopping and parking ticket was submitted to Sainsbury’s. I have been asked to pay discounted charge of £20 but not given any options to protest further. I felt Sainsbury’s has not clearly informed it’s customers about the parking which is shameful. I suggest whoever parks there and goes to shop please please take photos of parking tickets and shopping receipt and keep safe at least 2 to 3 weeks in case you have to go through like me.

Friendly staff and decent selection of products. It is slightly smaller than other big store and a little bigger than the local store. They had only 1 till open most of the time, so can be a wait in line. As like all supermarkets, they are encouraging self checkout till.
