Shop it self is ok, but there are so many man standing around looking at customer ladies and talking to eachother making comments in between them and talking Turkish/Kurdish. It would be nice for them to be professional and allow people to walk in do the shopping and go In peace and quiet, instead you got a random bloke shouting around taking attention. Can we get their wife's In the shop too please.

I recently moved to Hornchurch and hoped this would be my go-to halal store. The layout, variety, cleanliness, and fresh produce are great. However, on both visits the older man at the meat counter was very short-tempered and impatient, which put me and my partner off. For the higher prices, I’d like to feel comfortable taking my time when ordering. I also bought mince that seemed fine at first but cooked extremely fatty, as if the fat was minced into the meat. I won’t be returning for chicken or meat. Prices for everything else seemed inflated.

It is primarily grocery store for Turkish goods, but they also cater for other brands. Their fresh fruits are of very high quality. They have exotic fruits, rarely found in other places. They have bread section and olives section where you can taste and buy as per your requirement. They have very good meat section also. They cater for all types of meat, goat meat is also available. You can find all types of Turkish soups as well as other brands, cheese of all types. Spices of all types and varities are also availabe. Prices are on the high side comparatively. I bought these hazelnut snacks thinking I got a good offer — 15 for £5 I just noticed that they expire in only two days (06/05/25), which I wasn’t informed of at the time of purchase. Very disappointed with near-expired products. Would not recommend unless they improve transparency and honesty with customers.

I have been visiting this grocery market from time to time. There was a period when I went almost twice a week, but since we now have a smaller yet similar shop near our home, we no longer need to travel that far for groceries. This market is quite large and offers a diverse range of products from around the world. However, its primary focus is on Turkish-made goods, which is why it is particularly desirable for us. One of the key advantages of this place is the availability of halal products, including fresh meat, which makes it a convenient option when considering where to buy groceries. In terms of hygiene, I can’t fault them. I have never noticed any major cleanliness issues, in fact, I have never had any concerns regarding hygiene here. The store is always well-maintained, and there are a couple of staff members constantly walking around, particularly in the fresh produce section outside, ensuring that everything remains tidy and organized at all times. The layout of the shop is much better than that of many similar stores. The aisles are spacious, allowing customers to move around freely without worrying about knocking things over, which is a significant improvement compared to other grocery markets of this type. One downside I have noticed over time is the pricing. It is a bit expensive, and every time I visit, the prices seem to increase. While this may not be entirely their fault, as market conditions likely force them to raise prices, it can still be frustrating. Imported products, in particular, tend to be costly, which may contribute to the overall pricing structure. It would be great if they could find ways to offer more competitive prices or promotions to make shopping here more budget-friendly. They used to provide reduced-price products nearing their sale-by date, especially fruits and vegetables in boxes. These were always my favorite, as they offered a good bargain and reduced waste. However, either they no longer do this or have found another way to utilize these products, as I haven't seen them available recently. Parking is quite limited, with only a couple of spaces at the back of the shop, but I have never parked there as they are often occupied. Most of the time, we prefer using the Lidl parking lot nearby, which is a lifesaver, without it, finding parking close to the shop would be quite difficult.

This store became a literally joke. Prices are ridiculous. We used to shop weekly but now they doing so many mistakes in pricing that every time I have to return and show them wrong pricing. As I know Turkish owner left and now a non- Turkish lady owner have it. Today was the last time I went there as they did again by 9£ extra price . Not even coming back. Is such a shame destroying the name of the store. When u do business do it in the right way at least don’t try to “steal” people.

£1.85 for one red pepper, large but went soft after one day and had a mould spot inside it £1.82 for 4 bananas (normal sized) £1.62 for ONE cucumber We are in a cost of living crisis guys. Don’t rip people off . The butcher will always give you way more than you ask for. Wouldn’t recommend Have tried the dessert and the cream tasted sour so threw away. This was £2.99 for one piece of cake. Have seen the dumpy guy at the front always being rude to the English woman who works on the till. She is efficient and polite. Telling her to be quicker etc.

Unlike the old ownership, the new owners have put out more products to choose from. In fact, so much more that there are constantly stuff blocking and left in the middle of the paths between the isles or just chucked in the corner for when someone can actually bother putting it away. The only thing similar to before is that everything is overpriced, but now it is even worse. So yeah, you've got the choice of many products, but you pay the unreasonable price... just like any other similar shop. I shop there and just because they have stuff I can't find anywhere else, but I am put off by the price at the end.

They have so much food from all round the world..the smell of the spices is amazing. You have to take your time to really have a look at everything..they have beautiful desserts from Greece and the freezer section is overflowing with such delicious foods. I did ask for price check and was helped..but on a product availability wasn't very helpful just sent me to another section..but it's nice to see all the fresh produce and everything else. Well worth a visit.
