I am a local and come here often, to the point that some of the workers know my face. I just got accused of stealing. I showed the transaction on my phone still the tesco worker accused me. Then when he realised I didn't. I asked him to apologise as loudly as he accused me of stealing. I have never felt so embarrassed. All " because of the system". Maybe fix it?!! To make things worse I paid on self check out next ti the lady that works at the till all the time. The whole experience was a joke.

I recently visited the Tesco store in Oxlane and unfortunately had a negative experience with the security guard. After checking my bill, he accused me of having a false receipt and caused a big issue. This was extremely frustrating and embarrassing for me as a customer. Management should train their staff and security fellow on how to deal with situations like this and to not make false accusations without a proper investigation and a simple common sense to verify their own bill. Overall, my shopping experience at this Tesco store was ruined by this incident. Never going to return again Afterward, the incident was reported to a Manager named Ahmed, who did nothing about it.

Best if you're paying using with card. Self checkout is fast but if you need to pay using cash there's always a queue. This is because there are two cash tills of which only one will ever be occupied.

I go fairly often for my lunch, there is usually just one person covering the till and the automatic checkouts so there is often a line adding a few minutes (to be fair, most others are also buying lunch so it moves as quickly as it builds up). The self checkouts are rubbish for scanning items twice or not reading clubcard codes so they often get stuck waiting for the cashier to come over to help.

Rude, incompetent staff. Leave people queuing for ages with 1 rude woman serving. The other staff just wander around looking hopeless. One was even mopping the floor with dirty, smelly water while we waited, instead of serving. The rude manager behind the counter should NEVER be allowed to interact with customers for a business. I saw her even throw a bag for someone who asked her after she told him to abruptly βwaitβ! The security guard is a very rude, lazy person. Spends more time on his phone shouting down it. This place needs management upstairs to have a thorough meeting with these people. Thankfully, you have 1 or 2 staff members that are a credit to you. But the majority are just vile, rude and lazy.

Meal deals are hardly a thing in this tescos but besides that itβs a very nice little tescos 9/10 the staff are polite and itβs always tidy and easy to get around would recommend

Used to be really good Tesco's I was overcharged by Β£27 tonight and was told it was put back on my card which now I have to wait for it to be return but add insult to injury he spoke in Indian and I kept on replying I do not understand you until one of the other team workers explained he was speaking in Indian as I left he spoke to the next customer in Indian and as she explained she did not understand really gone downhill not going there anymore

I Check their frozen food before buy. I think they leave them outside the fridge/freezer for long time before they put them in fridge or freezer as productβs packaging is soft. They do try to serve customers fast on the till. Some staff members are very friendly but others donβt even greet customer. Opening timings are great. Since the cake box opened next door, parking has been nightmare. I use to park in Tescoβs parking and walk in with kids comfortably. But itβs getting harder to park. They do have some nice offers on food.
