    Bought some rolls and the date was 09/25 but they were stale. I took them back and the shop keeper said they aren’t supposed to be fresh and you put them in the oven. I did and they were still stale. A good shop would have refunded or offered a fresh replacement. Bread needs to be replenished often and they are fast sellers so stocking bread rolls with only 2 months date to sell buy is going to be stale. The reason for being stale was that they are in date and are not supposed to be fresh. Never heard such nonsense. I’ll be going to HillSide where the food is always fresh. Never had a problem with stale bread before.
