Awful Tesco, had Evri machine for a year and it worked maybe 20% of the time Now they’ve removed the machine but conveniently are listed on the Evri website still as a drop-off location, they didn’t even bother to remove themselves Many wasted trips here
Love this place. Friendly and helpful staff there give you a welcome and local feeling. Also love the reliable and expanding selection.
2025.8.28 I bought a pineapple this morning and found it was bad inside. Later at around 7.30pm, I went back to the supermarket with the bad pineapple and the ticket. I told a staff the situation about the pineapple at the front door whose English was hard to understand. He told me firmly that this is not bad and it is just dry so he would not return the product and give my money back. I asked another customer who agreed that it is bad!!! found it surprisingly he completely ignored the reality and didn’t respect the customers at all. He tried to infuriate the customer and eventually he accused me of not being polite at first.In fact, I started with the conversation with « excuse me, I bought a pineapple this morning which is bad>. I asked him to take out the cctv and proved that I was not polite as he said. He said that customer service does not fall into his responsibility. He is very arrogant and looks like the big boss of the supermarket who shouldn’t be bothered by a customer with problems. I feel humiliated. I just want my money back as I bought products with bad quality but he wanted me to take the responsibility of tesco’s bad quality. Also I want to report a case of this staff who seems a racist because when another kind white women intervened saying that he should give me back the money as the food is clearly bad, his attitude changed. He completely ruined my day. With this staff in this supermarket, I won’t recommend anyone going there.
Barely staffed and barely managed place, but I can understand their situation, this industry is a struggle.
I came at this shop few days ago, I paid for all my items and the security guard was staring at me, and i felt really uncomfortable. He even accused me to steal items, that obviously i did not. I do not recommend it at all for both the products and the staff. No worries 2 minutes walk away from this shop you will find a sainsbury’s with a more friendly staff.
I went here with a friend and the security guy was unrespectful, he acted agressivly and I still do not know why. He did not stop to staring at us which was pretty scary. It is such a pity for a good shop.
Small Tesco but relatively well-stocked. The Evian water bottles are always warm for some reason (probably a nearby source of heat) which is not ideal, and self-checkouts don’t work well and often require staff assistance which is a waste of time.

I have just been to Tesco in Mansell Street and found it disgusting. Mice droppings everywhere. Food, eaten by mice, left on shelves. I had mentioned it to them in the past, but it seems they can't be bothered.
