Disgusting service and expired products, avoid this place!! I came into this shop to return a can of tomato paste that was clearly out of date it said April 2025, and we’re in July 2025. Instead of owning up to the mistake, the staff member decided to argue with us, acting like we were blind or didn’t know how to read a date. No apology, no basic customer service, just attitude and defensiveness. He actually walked us around the shop trying to show us other cans as if that somehow proved we were wrong. It felt like he was more focused on embarrassing us than fixing the issue. And even when they finally offered a replacement, we were so fed up with the whole experience that we didn’t even take it. What the hell kind of business argues with customers trying to point out expired stock? It’s mid-July and they still have products on the shelves that expired in April that’s absolutely disgusting. Speaking of disgusting, the smell in the shop is horrendous, like something rotten. The entire experience was just filthy, unprofessional, and beyond frustrating. We left feeling disgusted. Never coming back, and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Avoid it completely.

this supermarket was hit with fines over rat infestation!!! Routine food hygiene inspections by the council’s environmental health food safety team on three occasions last year found a rat infestation, chewed food by rodents, a dead rat and unclean premises. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Disgrace of a shop, council has inspected and discovered dead rats and terrible food hygiene. They are in the news! Google them.
