   I was truly impressed when I visited Akdeniz Supermarket's Walthamstow branch. This is more than just a grocery store; it's a little haven that brings the fresh flavours and warm atmosphere of the Mediterranean right here. There's a lot to be said about the meats – freshness and quality are truly paramount. The beef, lamb, and chicken products are always fresh, reliable, and delicious. The mince prepared for köfte and the fresh chicken breast are particularly addictive. The fruit and vegetables are as fresh as if they were just picked from the garden. They are vibrantly coloured, crisp in texture, and authentic in taste. The tomatoes with their aroma, the greens with their freshness, and the perfectly ripe fruits genuinely reflect the bounty of the Mediterranean. The quality of all products throughout the store is remarkable. The olive oils, variety of cheeses, pulses, and other Turkish/Mediterranean products are truly authentic and fresh. The emphasis on freshness over long shelf-life is evident in every detail. The staff, however, are this supermarket's most valuable asset. They are extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. They sincerely answer questions about products and help you find what you need. This genuine, warm service transforms shopping from a mundane chore into a pleasant experience. Akdeniz Supermarket in Walthamstow is not just a place to get your groceries; it's a place where you can feel at home, meeting quality products with warm service. I highly recommend it!

   Expired romanian food and rude staff when they're being . told also they have hidden prices and fake stuff like raw ruzla . Double check the expiration date when buying frozen stuff from them like mici ,etc. Avoid if you don't want to get sick !!

   Amazing place, they have everything you need. Fresh olives, baklava, pastries, butcher too. Lots of more obscure items from around Europe that are hard to find.

   I went to buy some fresh baklawa , the man in the counter weighted the baklawa with the cardboard box , I made the note to him but he said I don't have choice. I said I am paying for baklawa not for the cardboard.

   Love this shop, great range of items and friendly staff. It has a bakery at the back with fresh Turkish bread, pastries and baklava, too! They do simit and pide, yum!

   The go-to supermarket if you are looking for a splendid array of Eastern European or Middle Eastern foods, fresh veg and fruit including Hungarian peppers or kohlrabi, neither commonly on sale in the UK, or on the premises baked breads, rolls, baps and cakes. You are spoilt with the choice of pulses and grains. Their sub rolls and baps are beautifully soft and HUGE! The butcher’s counter looks amazing, but I haven’t bought any fresh meat from there yet, so I can’t comment on the quality. By all means, this is the best international supermarket I’ve ever been to that caters for all my needs, but there is still room for improvement. Their wide range of Czech/Slovak products (something I shop there for regularly) is scattered all over the place – in eight different places during my last visit. I’m sure customers would welcome country-specific sections where they could find all products from a specific country in one place.

   This place was a god send during lock down. They had everything i needed and kept the prices fair unlike some shops! And becuase of that, i have continued to use a shop which i had previously ignored. These are good guys and i will support them like they supported me.
