   Just started my very young children at Black Widow (6&8). I am highly impressed in their progression within the 4 PT lessons they have had. My son and daughter have learnt more in these lesson than the year they spent at another academy. The technic, method and communication they use is fantastic. A personal mention to Zayrab their teacher/coach….. absolutely brilliant! Tempted to start lessons myself! Thank you and very highly recommend if you want to learn or teach your children proper fighting/defence skills.

   I couldn't be happier with our experience at Black Widow Martial Arts! This is the second member of my family to train here, and the positive impact on my 5-year-old son has been incredible. The instructors are not only highly skilled but also patient and encouraging, creating a wonderful learning environment. My son's confidence has skyrocketed, both inside and outside the gym. His fighting abilities have improved significantly, and he's also made fantastic new friends. The supportive community at Black Widow Martial Arts has truly made a difference in his development.    i love martial arts. my first shot at muay thai with black widow was a fantastic experience. although i had to quit before advancing to advanced class, i would have loved sparring with the girls there as they are absolutely tough! i would definitely continue where i left off when i can next join. credits to the one and only female instructor- Bushra for always making the classes fun and enjoyable and tough at the same time.

   Black Widow is one of the best Muay Thai Boxing Gyms so if you're thinking of getting into Thai Boxing, this is the gym for you! The team there are so friendly. The whole time I was there, I felt at home. The trainers are well certified and know they're stuff. The owner of the Academy really does invest in the students and encourages development. This gym is not just about taking your monthly membership; they actually want to see you progress which is lovely.

   I have had the pleasure of being a member of Black Widow Martial Arts Academy for nearly 3 years now. I cannot recommend this gym enough. I walked into the gym, nearly 3 years ago, with no experience of martial arts. I was greeted by friendly staff and received a free 20 minute lesson showing me the basics. Naqqash was a friendly coach who supported a complete novice like myself. I was excited to join and it is one of the best decisions I could have made in regards to my fitness. I have picked up great skills and techniques from the coaches here, such as Naqqash, Roy, Harrison, Will and Harris, with special mention going to the owner of the gym, Yogi. Yogi is a fantastic teacher who has a real passion for teaching the younger generation. His lessons, like the other trainers in the gym, are fantastic. I have even had Black Widow visiting the school I work at and training the younger generation. I have seen some reviewers complaining about 'hidden charges.' I would say that this is ridiculous as everything regarding extra charges has been upfront with me from the start. The gym put no pressure in getting you to grade as they know it's your own choice. They will still ensure that they teach the same curriculum to all students, irrespective if you are grading or not. I have also seen reviewers complaining about the uniform charges. Again, this is ridiculous. When I joined the gym, I was made aware that I could buy the same kit elsewhere at a cheaper price. I decided to buy from Black Widow and it was a great decision as none of the boxing gloves or shin pads have shown wear and tear, even after going to the gym around 3 times a week for 3 years. I definitely think Black Widow is value for money. You will learn a martial art that you could use if you ever need to, get fit and make good friends along the way.
