Visited yesterday & met a lovely assistant called Kate. she was super helpful, pointing me in the right direction for a top I was wanting which would give me support during yoga. She also showed me the sale rack & I picked up a couple of bargains. She was fabulous & I hope she's recognised as a great member of the SB York team.. I'll definitely be back! thank you x
Very nice staff, immediately asked if I needed assistance and recommended clothes tailored to what I was looking for. Prices are a bit high (approximately 60 pounds for leggings) however the quality is there, I definitely believe they will last you many years and be worth the price!
Visted the York shop several times this week . Over the course of the last few days the temperature has been unbearably hot with no air conditioning in the shop. This was followed by the area outside the shop being excavated for an electrical issue that caused the alarm to activate . Throughout this whole thing the staff were amazing. All credit to them . They are lovely people, totally professional and they made shopping fun despite the chaos going on around them . I really hope Sweaty Betty recognises what great colleagues they have working for them . Service with a smile. Thank-you I really appreciate it .
My friend and I popped into Sweaty Betty's on a recent visit to York. My friend was desperate for more clothes and we all like Sweaty Betty. It was really quite a lovely branch. The staff were attentive, and helpful without being overbearing. One staff member in particular was especially helpful to my American friend who was looking for a particular pair or type of pants. My friend ended up buying a navy blue pair and the lovely assistant kindly ordered or rather located a black pair for her in Harrogate as we were travelling there next. I'm so sorry that we weren't able to get there, but thank you so much for your help. P.S. We really liked the bag too!
Very disinterested staff! Entered store to look at clothing, one asistant turned her back and continued on a phone call, the other just keep on looking at her computer. No hello, nothing . In order to sell your very expensive activewear, at least make the customer feel welcome. I was going to purchase 2 items, but they lost a sale, maybe get some training,!!!

Super helpful service from Jess after phoning this store. She found the item I was looking for and posted it out to me. It arrived the next day and saved me a long journey to pick it up. Thank so much Jess. The leggings are amazing too!
Poor customer service. Went into store main shop assistant was chatting with friend at till for around 5 minutes no acknowledgement I was there or if I wanted any help, eventually another sales assistant arrived again, didn't ask if I wanted any assistance which I did need as hardly anything in my usual size (xs) out on display. Sweaty Betty sizes VERY large and I was swamped in their xs and then told they don't stock their smaller sizes in store. Don't bother going if you're sized below a 10.
