Awful service in this garage regarding the ATM machine. Understand that it is not their responsibility but the attitude of the staff is disgusting . Knew the machine was out of cash but said it wasn't their responsibility to put a note on it. The person was so rude and the ATM owners should know about their attitude.

I am a regular customer at your stations, mainly because of the good fuel prices, especially V-Power. However, during my recent visit I experienced a very unpleasant situation. I wanted to redeem a £10 bonus from my loyalty card. After scanning, the price did not change, so I asked the cashier why. She replied that “Shell card is not working ,” but the way she said it was extremely rude and dismissive. When I asked for her name, she ignored me, did not even look at me, and was browsing her phone (apparently Facebook) instead. She was a young woman, blonde with long hair, and spoke with an accent.
Stopped off for petrol, car showed the prices were the cheapest around for miles. The store had a family owned vibe to it with a huge array of impressive local suppliers including fabulous meat options and strawberry punnets to die for. Overall very very impressed, staff super polite. Hidden gem
Shell petrol station and Budgens combined. Newly refurbished pumps. Friendly staff. Petrol usually competitive. Toilets clean. Additional facilities include Car wash, air and vacuum stations. Recommended. Plenty of parking.
I have been to this garage (shop) multiple times. I went again yesterday afternoon and was served by a staff member I think called Shree (don’t know the spelling). She always has a beautiful smile and so helpful. Its always a pleasure to come in to the shop to see that smile. That’s how ‘customer service’ should be.
Staff in shop, woman straight shoulder length blone/grey hair with glasses looks in her 50s the rudest woman I have come across!! And in front of my 7 year old child! I Popped in to buy some essentials and this woman scanned my items and without realising that she hadn't scanned my grapes I picked them up and she had a go at me. I wasn't sure at first if it was a joke as I was abit taken back but i could tell by her face she wasnt joking. I looked at her and Said 'no need for that it was an accident' she glared at me with gritted teeth, then put her head down still with an angry face, scanned my bread and then she agressively threw it in the basket! I looked at her in disbelief as she still had a face like thunder! I took the food of my daughter, put it back in the basket and i said 'forget it' and she said 'good i dont care' and as i went to walk out the shop she then SHOUTED at me across the store in the most sarcastic raised voice 'bye' 'see ya!' 'have a nice day girls!'....now she's including my 7 year old child with 'girls'!!!!! I am disgusted a woman in her 50s would act this way and i am shocked by how we were treated... all because I picked up some grapes from my basket! To do that in front of my daughter is disgusting (who then got upset in my car). I will be putting in a formal complaint. This woman has anger issues, a short temper and should NOT be working in retail. Her staff member was serving next to her who clearly heard her shout at me and my child as we left the store. I then popped to another shop where the lady was lovely, polite and really kind....exactly how customer service should be. I dont know who this woman speaks to like this but myself and daughter will not be one of them and i certainly won't be buying anything from her. I've been in this shop before and staff aren't very pleasant. By reading the reviews it seems to be a pattern of rude behaviour to customers. I have seen a bad review from 2 years ago actually describing this woman being racist and rude, so why are you keeping her on as staff and doing nothing about this behaviour?!. This woman clearly should not work with customers and certainly not near children! She clearly hates her job and needs to sort her short temper out.
They didn't have petrol today, but one of the best prices. Update: came second time few weeks later and they don't have it again. Waste of time.
Amazing family run business. Staff are always great and helpful. Fuel is a great price. Has new Costa machines and even tango ice blast! Highly recommend!
Visit regularly for petrol and groceries. Very appreciative that they always peg their fuel prices to the cost of deliveries so treating customers fairly. Staff also friendly and helpful. A great asset to the local community
