Today for the first time I had visited Asda Degenham superstore by a friends referral. He said I can find fireworks there. There was a lady, looks aging and chubby who was extremely extremely rude towards me. I was with my 2 autistic child and my family asked her a simple question, where shall I ask for firework. She literally shouted at me by saying β stop it, I am talking to other customerβ all the customer nearby was simply shocked with her extreme rude behaviour. Right after she served her customer, I was there but she still didnβt reply to my answer and was giving me a pure sarcastic look. I really felt unsafe with my disable children in this store and purely felt discriminated. Camera footage can be checked to see her behaviour at the entrance (customer service section) around 9 pm. I wanted to reply towards her behaviour, but then again I thought she might be mentally ill cz a normal employee can never behave like that.. never had such rude behaviour like this in any other store and surely not to any ASDA store ever again..

Inside, youβll find all the usual supermarket departments youβd expect: fresh produce (fruit, vegetables), meat and fish counters, dairy and chilled goods, bread and bakery, frozen foods, canned and dry staples (rice, pasta, pulses), snacks, drinks, confectionery, and a full range of household essentials like cleaning products, laundry, toiletries, bathroom essentials, pet food, and kitchen supplies. Asdaβs website confirms they stock a wide grocery range plus toiletries, beauty, laundry & household, baby and pet products.

Tills are never open relying on self service till, there's a few members staff that are very helpful while some often stand at the self service watching a fellow member of staff getting overwhelmed to say it's not there job to help customers with the red light at the tills. I've been coming here since the store was opened it was a great place to shop the only store to go and now it's a last resort to go to either because it's very local or they sell items I can't get at Tesco etc.

Absolutely terrible click & collect service at Asda Dagenham Superstore. I booked a collection slot and ended up waiting around for nearly an hour with no staff coming out to check who was waiting. No communication, no updates, nothing at all. It felt like nobody cared. Click & collect is supposed to be quick and convenient, but this was the complete opposite β a complete waste of time. If Asda canβt manage basic customer service, they shouldnβt even offer this service. I wonβt be using this store.

One of my favourite places to shop. The staff are also friendly and helpful. I am thankful that it is a 24-hour store, as some others have opted not to remain open for such long hours during the pandemic. A negative thing is that I always find shopping in this store to be a cold experience. :)

I always find this store freezing cold. I generally shop at night & sometimes trying to get around the store with a trolley is like going round an assault course! I appreciate that this is due to the store being restocked but, is it really necessary to have quite so many cages out? My only other gripe (sorry!) is that the staff, in particular the shelf stacking staff can be quite rude & are generally not very helpful. I understand that it is late at night & not the greatest of times to be working, believe it or not it's not my ideal time to be doing my shopping, but I do not see that as a reason to be rude to staff, therefore I don't really expect to be treated with the same courtesy. On the plus side, I am genuinely grateful for a 24hr supermarket. It seems that the ones that prior to covid were 24hrs have decided it is more cost effective to no longer stay open. So thank you Asda.

Before it was nice place for shopping. I coming nearly every day. Now i can't say that again and petrol station without cashiers not so good as it was before. 99Β£ in 24 hours how much fuel you can get with that price? And often you don't get a receipt

Consistency isn't always there but overall we like coming here for the convenience. We tend to come here in the middle of the night to due out schedules. Stocking is a challenge for stores at night but luckily the staff always are willing to move their trolleys.
