   Helpful advice and good follow up Omar, Oliver & team have been very helpful in finding builders and managing my project. They have advised on how best to deal with certain issues that have arisen during the project, in particular toward the end of it which drags on much longer than one would want. In particular I would commend them on their follow up / customer service which is often lacking in this industry. I would use their services again.

   I used Construction Supermarket as I was on the lookout for builders to complete my home extension. The team were very prompt with sending contractors through who were able to quote within a 10 day window. Very useful when comparing quotes. I managed to view work from all 3 contractors and speak to their clients direct which was useful. I went ahead with one of the contractors and we are almost at completion. I know Construction Supermarket are not involved in the actual build of the project but they have been very kind in helping with advice and ensuring I used milestones to release my payments.

   Our experience with CS is a very bad one; we engaged with them for the sourcing of builders for a small extension to our family house. They suggested a list of 3 companies from which they strongly recommended one. We followed the recommendation and selected the company recommended by CS. The company in question (BOLT Construction) was an absolute disaster; poor quality work, delays, non-existing project management skills. Moreover, when the building company wanted to be paid in advance for work still outstanding, CS recommended we comply. This was a bad decision, as work never continued, was never finalised and we ended up having to complete the work ourselves. We have subsequently taken the case to the court and have received compensation. In addition to their recommendation of a company which was clearly not credible, CS submitted wrong drawings and are still refusing to take responsibility for this. We have engaged in a separate legal case with CS to recover our losses. We are are extremely disappointed with the delivery from CS and would never recommend them to anybody.

   My Architect suggested I give Construction Supermarket a call in order to get a few quotes for my project. It’s a great concept and we have used the service as stated. We had a house construction from the ground up with bespoke finishes and the contractors certainly accommodated our forever changing of ideas! Omar was great, he certainly made the communication channels more effective. I truly believe without their assistance; we would have had a different outcome. 100% worth using.
