   A Truly Unforgettable Birthday at The Wine Room, Bridge Road, Hampton Court – 5 Stars All the Way! I recently celebrated a milestone birthday at The Wine Room Hampton Court, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment I booked to the final toast, Rachel and James —the wonderful proprietors—were nothing short of superb. Their attention to detail ( personalised menus etc ) and warm hospitality made the entire experience seamless and joyful. We hosted around 44 guests, enjoying a fantastic selection of wines, craft beers, and mouthwatering sharing boards. The atmosphere was elevated even further by our incredible saxophonist, Joe, whom I first encountered busking outside Bentalls in Kingston. He was absolutely off the scale and brought a magical vibe to the evening. The party kicked off at 8 PM and wrapped up around 11, but in those few hours, the energy never dipped. The food and drinks flowed effortlessly thanks to the impeccable service from the team—Rachel, Julia, Karen and Jo. Despite the busy crowd, they kept everyone topped up with smiles and grace, blending in so naturally they felt like part of the celebration themselves. Their customer service was truly next-level. The Wine Room itself is a gem—not quite a pub, wine bar, or restaurant, but a beautifully chilled and stylish venue that caters to those with a discerning taste looking for something refreshingly different. The wine and craft beer list is excellent, but it is the people and the vibe that make it truly special. To Rachel, James , and the whole team: you have created something unique and wonderful. Keep it going!

   keep coming back to this wine bar largely because of the incredible service from Karen and Julia. They truly are the face of the place. Every time I walk in, they greet us with genuine warmth, a happy smile, and the kind of hospitality that instantly makes you feel welcome. Both of them have an amazing ability to read the table—whether it’s recommending the perfect glass of wine, suggesting something new to try, or simply creating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Their knowledge, enthusiasm, and consistent good energy elevate the whole experience. They really do go above and beyond, and it’s staff like them that turn a good venue into a favourite. A huge thank you to Karen and Julia for making every visit memorable.

   Great place to try different bottles of wines, the staff are friendly and always smiling, very attentive and helpful, I’ve been coming here for a few years, they charge a small corkage fee which is well worth it. I’ve been able to try different wines and have more of a understanding of my palate. The experience is great and definitely worth coming when it’s sunny as you can sit outside and enjoy a nice bottle of wine.

   An independent wine merchant ( love the independents, support the high street) packed with great and different wines. Friendly staff with excellent knowledge and happy to go the extra mile. Great pop up restaurant events and wine tastings too!! Oh and it has a wine bar so you can sit and enjoy a nice glass! Thoroughly recommended!!
