Purchased an expensive mattress for my disabled grandparents. The website says unlimited returns, the mattress hasnβt been used because when it arrived it was so uncomfortable for them they never slept on it, they wasnβt a full sized display one so we had to buy it blind under the information that it could be returned. Itβs in the original packaging. The manager at this location has refused a refund and said if you read the terms and conditions itβs exchange only. Never experienced anything like it. Now they is a king sized mattress stuck in there tiny disabled access bungalow blocking the entrance for nearly 2 weeks because they are refusing a refund. For absolutely no reason other than they donβt want to be down on the money for the store target for the day. Disgusting also said they were too busy all week to reply too us or do anything about itβ¦ do not purchase a mattress from this location if you donβt like it your totally stuck

The worst customer service I have ever met. Always have the reason why they couldn't get back your money. Doesn't matter it is a faulty item or just a poor quality. Doesn't matter what is your reason, never accepted. Just a nod and same conclusion, you leave as you come (with the unwanted item) They want to get rid of you as soon as possible. It's unworthy, unfair. I gave more chances, but that was my last purhcase there. They don't deserve my trust. If you just open the box they say it is not an original package. This is the treatment here. Best avoid this place.

Given wrong colour chair - decided out of courtesy to at least put it together and have a look if I could use the chair despite being the wrong colour unfortunately I cannot but the follow-up call to them to get some support was lousy - I can see absolutely no reason why I canβt return the chair in perfect condition for them to sell from the shopfloor but they now requested me to put it all back in the box. Take it all apart. Re-wrap it and drive the 30 miles to store in my own time.

Lovely polite staff. Manager was so helpful. Bought 4 pieces of furniture, all are fantastic quality and look great in my hall, lounge and bedroom. Will be heading back for some more bits. Great store!

3rd time to this store. Excellent service, despite the staff being run off there feet. They went above and beyond to assist myself and my friend. Managed to get everything I needed in one visit. Highly recommend and will be going again!

Terrible retail service. We phoned JYSK before travelling to check items (small display cabinets) were in stock. Arrived in Ellesmere Port to find the items on display were in a total shambles - broken goods, poorly assembled and parts missing. We had No attention from store staff despite lack of other customers. We assembled a couple of complete items ourselves and took them to the till to be told that they were sold flat-pack only - and NONE were in stock. The manager was not available to talk to us. We have now found much more substantial products elsewhere - and will NOT return to JYSK!

The products are good value for money. But customer service is really bad, I waited 3 weeks for an order and they still didn't have it, in the end I asked for a refund. I would probably order online and not go to the shop.

Ordered a few large items, text messages received when the items were available for collection. Was directed to go round the back to load, helpful staff. All the above equates to great service. Would use them again as it beats IKEA hands down.
