Went to the refurbished cafe today and although aesthetically it's an improvement, sad to say the food wasn't great. Only had a sausage sandwich and coffee, but the sausage was quite 'mushy', although it was hot. I was surprised when I was originally going to order the fully loaded breakfast barm, to be told there's no bacon. Fine, I asked if there would be an extra item to accommodate the missing bacon. Was told no. Fine, I asked if there would be a discount. Was told no. So.....they want to charge you for food they cannot provide. Suppose they were still selling the bacon barms, without the bacon. Won't be going back in a hurry!

Great store tidy and well presented. Love the detail with having samples of the bed sets so as to not require opening the packaging. Staff helpful and friendly

Dunelm cafe today. Our meals were supposed to be served with side salads but when she brought them the waitress said they had none left! No apology, no reduction in price and no alternative offered. Not impressed. They need to amend the menu board. Where it says "are all served with side salad" they need to add "if we have any".

Visited Dunelm on Wednesday 6th August. Went to ask for a donation as I am holding an afternoon tea for Breast cancer now! I located whom appeared to be the manager and asked politely if they had a budget to donate something to raffle, I had a letter of authority from breast cancer now, but I was told abruptly 'no'. She advised that unless my event was after November she had no budget very abruptly! I asked was there an email address for head office and she advised no, there is no budget, put her head down and carried on with what she was doing. I appreciate that there may be no budget as with the current climate everyone is struggling, but it takes nothing to be polite about it, and say sorry we can't help at the minute. I have been to other establishments and they have been extremely polite.

Good store lots of selection in bedding ,curtains kitchen ware ,rugs, lamps ,ornaments alsorts. The only downside was trying to pay one assistant serving and a que of 12 customers . Not good enough ?.

Placed a click and collect order last night (Saturday) at 8.15pm and at 10.03 Sunday morning I received a text message to say it was ready for collection. Now that is what I call excellent service! Well done Dunelm, you are experts in this field! TY

Tried the Loaded breakfast Barm. Bacon, Sausage, Egg & Hashbrown for only £4 ! Sells most home things. Kitchen, lighting, bedding, curtains etc.

Had lovely lunch here food was delicious as always, staff lovely as usual, my only negative comment is that there wasn't a cleared table to sit at we had to move a tray full of dirty dishes as most others did to sit down, if they are short staffed then why not out a rack out so people can clear their used trays when finished and leave an empty table for the next person or at least clear a table when they're bringing food out
