Needed some help this afternoon and they were extremely helpful and kind. This is why we should shop local and keep our high street alive.
What can I say - Stokers in Ormskirk is amazing. Went in today for a dining table, chairs and sideboard, with the vain hope of pre-Christmas delivery. Was approached by a lovely chap, Roy Turner, who offered his help. My mum passed away 3 weeks ago so was desperately trying to turn the room she used as her bedroom back into a dining room for Christmas. Unfortunately, the style I was looking for had an 8-10 week lead time but, fear not, Roy whips out his cape and tells me "don't worry, if you decide to order, we can loan you a table from next week until you receive yours. That way you'll have somewhereto eat your Christmas dinner". I nearly burst into tears!!!! I didn't expect such a service, especially as you just don't come across such kind-hearted people these days. Sale was not one bit pushy or pressured. Roy listened to my requirements (size, style, colour, etc) and took me round the store showing me the pieces that hit the spot, explaining everything from the wood it was made from, how it was made to how to look after each piece. Roy - you are an absolute credit and Stokers are extremely lucky to have you as an ambassador for their brand. I cannot thank you enough, you really did go more than above and beyond. I will be back for the rest of my furniture next year.
Just bought a three piece suite Sandra was so very helpful and friendly in helping us find what we wanted She was very knowledgable Suite was delivered on time very efficiently and we are very pleased with it Would recommend Stokers to anyone looking for new furnitue
A long journey to Ormskirk to buy a new expensive leather suite. Had viewed it online. However, when we arrived in the store and examined the chair it was not the same as shown online? The Sofa was fine. Disappointed as we wanted to buy?

Great selection of suites so much larger than it looks
As a black man don’t like how I was being looked at when I was checking out the sales, it was like they thought I was gonna steal something it really made me uncomfortable, even though they have really nice products customer service needs improving on
Excellent customer service by Tracey today! Fabulous selection and quality after we had trawled around many furniture stores. Only Stokers had the quality we where looking for.
Visited Stokers today and shown around by a lovely saleswoman Sandra Maddox. Very professional, easy to speak with, very accommodating with all our questions and queries. Must see shop, furniture lovely but staff a credit to stokers.
