Couldn’t have been more helpful. I couldn’t visit the store and so with help from Sarah and Mark, a selection of chairs were delivered to my house to choose from. Fab quality and excellent service. Highly recommend.
A lovely shop with kind, helpful staff. My husband and I visit this shop a lot with our daughter, and have bought many things over the years. Mark has delivered items to our home in Nantwich at a time and date that always works for us. The team at Browsers are also great with my husband, who has dementia and can sometimes ramble a bit, but they always take the time to listen to him and have a joke together.
An Aladdin's cave ran by those who are students of Jafar. Warning! Whilst some of their goods are genuine antiques they've managed to get for pennies from Charity shops, car boots & estate sales a significant amount are those who I have seen nearly identical ones for sale on TEMU & AMAZON and when you enquire about the price of items (which never have a price tag) they imply to make you think it's from John Lewis or fresh from Sotherby's. You won't find Del Boys lessor watch here. You'll just be wasting your time. Every single item that they quote you initially is overpriced hoping you just pay it; I've listened when visiting to them quoting quite different prices to different people on items presumably on how the different people dressed and spoke. The staff are rude and unhelpful if they judge you to not have quite enough money in your pocket for their liking, or that they can't extract from you what you do have quickly enough. If they also think you seem to have an Troy ounce of knowledge about the true value of their wares they also will try to get rid of you so they can try to butter up people that have been drawn in. I heard one member of staff fob off people to a cheap bulk house wears location because they didn't care to actually talk to their customers needs or wants. I was saddened to see a nice old respectable retired man who just wanted to chat a bit be given short shift. If you do go here; haggle. Or just go to the charity shops in Chester; I have certainly seen a lot nearly identical prices to Browser's stuff there without the markup. They say the customer is always right, in matters of taste. This place may look delicious in the photos and Tiktok/Instagram reels but it leaves a revolting taste in the mouth.
Called in for the 1st time today after see their post on tictok. What a lovely place with so many unique things. Will definitely be going back and telling my family and friends about it
Found a church bench . On eBay and then found all sorts of thing we needed for the bar we put in the garden . Ended up with two bar stools /two pub tables with four chairs to go with it . Signs jugs beer signs ash trays even a bible this is a good place to go . You will be very surprised at the things this place has to offer
I love this place. Every time you visit there is something different and things you can't find anywhere else! I always see something to buy from a dining table to bits for my garden and most recently a fabulous garden swing. Friends of mine have also furnished their pub from here. Lovely friendly staff - a definate hidden gem and would recommend visiting
This is a great place with something new to see on every visit. It looks like a small store until you venture upstairs and see the massive warehouse with sofas, tables, bar furniture and even an outdoor swing. There are lots of new items reasonably priced but if you are on a budget there are lots of pre-loved items also. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone.
I used to love shopping here as you never knew what you would find. Now you are guaranteed to find vastly overpriced furniture and tat, most of it is rubbish. A lot of what people call 'shabby chic'. I cannot see this shop lasting long at these prices and we certainly wouldn't waste our time going there again. Also, be careful of the floor upstairs. Full of trip hazards, dips and loose metal panels.
If you can imagine it they may have it. If you can't imagine it they probably do. The quality could sometimes be better but the price is fantastic and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Some crazy stuff for sale here to.
