Absolutely fantastic team and service. They are a super friendly team who are willing to take their time with you and not just take your money and rush you out the door. They made sure all my equipment was perfect for me and the advice given was invaluable. Well worth the 50 minute drive I will be visiting again whenever i need new equipment - Thank You βΊοΈ

We walked in as total beginners having no clue what we needed. Tammie & Adrian spent over 1hr talking to us and finding out what we liked in terms of looks for our bows and kitted us or accordingly. It was more like going to see mates than buying from a shop!

I can't comment on the quality of their craftsmanship or extensive stock collection because we didnβt get past the judgmental sales assistant. Having gone to potentially buy some arrows, we were met with the obligatory "Do you need any help?", to which we explained what we were potentially looking for. At this point the sales assistant had positioned himself proudly behind the cash desk nowhere near us. At this point we were over by the arrow section, when he said "Have you got your bow, can't do anything without your bow!". Fair enough, you need to measure draw length, etc. But then all follow up questions were just cut off with "Can't do anything without your bow", no explanation, no insight as to what arrows would be best, what prices, no building rapport to make us want to come back, just standing like a statue behind the cash desk. I had already decided to buy a junior riser and discounted limbs for my son at this point as they were a good deal, along with a string, arrow puller and arm guard. Thinking surely they will have a bag for these items......how wrong was I......the same sales assistant then went to ram all my items in the riser box, attempting to close the lid (which obviously didn't happen), before turning into a mute and then me subsequently having to ask "are we done yeah?, because he had given me no indication at all that our transaction was over! I then had to reach over a random pile of paperwork to pick up my stuff from the desk and quickly got the hell out of there!! Without wanting it to be a wasted journey completely, we shot 10 minutes down the road to Custom Built Archery and the customer service there was completely the polar opposite! Yeah we didnβt have our bow, but the sales guy was more than happy to talk us through the different arrows, how things work, what we needed to do, etc. Just an extremely knowledgable guy who was more than happy to chat with potential customers. We came away with a band new bag that day, followed by a set of arrows, a brand new riser, and numerous other items when we returned the following day. It's safe to say, if you want great, knowledge customer service from people that have actually been in the archery business for over 40 years, it's worth going the extra 10 minutes and going to Custom Built!

1.1/4 hrs away from my home address. What can I say well worth the drive. Took my own bow as I was told I would need lower limbs as only a beginner. They sorted me out with new limbs balanced my bow and completely gave it a full service. They also allowed me to try it out on their range which was great. They even sorted out arrows to the weight of my bow and measured me up for arrow length. I would recommend 100% to anyone with a bow to visit, staff was very polite patient and understanding with a lot of knowledge

I recently ordered a set of arrows from KG Archery. There was a mix-up with my original order, due to my own mistake when placing it, but the team were incredibly kind and helpful. They offered to remake the arrows for me, kept me updated, and when the replacements arrived they were absolutely perfect. Itβs rare to find such genuine and great customer service, and I really appreciate the time and care they put into making sure everything was right. I wouldnβt hesitate to order from them again. Highly recommended! Thank you!

Following recommendations from club members I visited KG looking to purchase my first bow. I was told in advance don't expect to be in and out like a visit to the supermarket, how right they were. I was met by a staff member who immediately asked what I was looking and what budget I was working towards. I had a figure in mind and once having established what I wanted the selection process began. I was given access to a vast array of bow risers to handle and try for weight and comfort from the cheapest to the more expensive. Once selected I was measured for draw length and a bow size was determined. Following on risers and other component parts were added. The bow was then assembled and I was on the range trying out some shots to confirm sizing and poundage were right for me. The bow was then taken and fine adjustments were carried out on the setup. Back on the range some finer adjustments while shooting. Next came the arrows and these were cut to my length before being fletched and completed. Back on the range for another round of tuning and then to the till. All the time I was being served I was advised as to my running total, given advice on products, not pushed to the most expensive but advised as to the pros and cons of products. In all I purchased everything I needed within my budget. Three hours later I left KG with a bow tailored to me and really pleased with my kit. There are so many positive things I could say about this business. These days customer service like this is rare.

Amazing service, the staff all had friendly faces. I took their advice on equipment as a beginner and walked out more than happy. I loved that I told them I had a budget and they worked around it. Would definitely go again and suggest to others.

Excellent, family run, shop. Helpful, patient and knowledgeable staffβ¦special mention to Adrian. Theyβre happy to spend as much time as necessary to ensure that whatever you buy is set-up properly and, more importantly, suitable for you. I doubt theyβd sell you something that was unsuitable, unless you stupidly insisted on ignoring good advice. Iβve been into other archery shops and been ignored / treated like an inconvenience. Not here. Iβve also been sold entirely unsuitable kit at merlin, one of kgβs biggest competitors.
