   Great store offering everything you need to GO OUTDOORS! Very friendly staff, in particular the gentleman whose name has completely flown out of my head - I believe it’s Chris. Who helped my mum choose a new jacket, very great knowledge and super friendly. We spoke to him for a good amount of time and am very grateful for his help and good mannerism, a truly great asset to the store!

   This Go outdoors is close to the centre of Chesterfield situated inside a retail park with plenty of parking. The shop itself is quite large and has a wide variety of outdoor activities products ranging from clothes to equipment. The shop is nicely set out, and it is very easy to try out the products for sale. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my visit to this shop and could have spent a long time and money in there if I had the spare time and money, if you are an outdoors type of person, this shop is well worth a visit.

   Recently bought a tent from go outdoors and I must say it was the easiest experience ever! Great customer service and selection of tents upstairs everyone is very polite and helpful. The guy who served me even helped me take it to the car as it was a bit heavy

   After placing an order on the 27th Dec and receiving a despatch confirmation and tracking number it turned out the parcel was never given to the courier. After 5-6 emails to chase throughout Jan I had no reply and was forced to open a case with PayPal. After no response to the case I managed to speak to Customer Services and on 3 occasions throughout late Jan and Feb was promised refunds. After chasing again on Feb 6-8th I was told unless I closed the case with PayPal and said there was no issue with the retailer they would not refund the £155.25. After raising with PayPal this is a clear breach of PayPals terms and conditions and they’re now being looked into for this abuse of the Chargeback process. I can’t recommend using a smaller independent retailer more. Go Outdoors, Millets, Blacks and Ultimate Outdoors are essentially the same company with zero customer service, some clever marketing and no interest in anything other than a quick sale. Arguably the worst customer service I’ve received in 20 years

   We went today and visited a very shiny new shop.everybody were very smiley and happy faced.spoke with a few staff who were most helpful and courteous. The shop is very well laid out on two levels.tents and cycling upstairs gained by a staircase and there is also a very clever lift for elderly or disabled and wheelchair users.the whole shop can be accessed by wheelchair and very well spread out with wide aisles.there is huge amount of car parking and disabled parking outside the front doors.the shop has easy access for wheelchair users and pushchairs and smooth entry from pavement to shop.chesterfield has needed a shop like this for a long time.good levels of lighting and aircon will make for comfortable shopping in the future.
