We’ve now held both of my sons’ 3rd birthday parties at here, one two years ago and one just last month, and I honestly cannot recommend this place highly enough. Our first experience was so smooth and hassle-free that we knew immediately we’d be returning for our younger son’s big day. From start to finish, the team were an absolute pleasure to work with. Nothing was too much trouble, they set everything up for us and were on hand and checking in with me throughout. They are pros at cutting cakes too - always amazed at how many slices they can get out of a small cake! We self-catered and they still provided plates and forks for the cake which we completely forgot about! Such a thoughtful touch. A special shoutout to Khadra, who communicated with us from the moment we booked, greeted us warmly at the door, explained how the day would run and even gave my little one a voucher as a birthday present. I don't have cons I could say about this place! I only wish my boys would stay little for longer so we could keep booking parties here! It was truly a magical experience - my 3-year-old had the best day of his life. If you’re considering booking a party or even a little session here you really won’t regret it!

Had my daughter’s 4th birthday party at Picnic and it was very nice. Theresa was so lovely and the team were so helpful setting up everything, that took a huge weigh from my shoulders! The only downside I would say wad that the kids get so excited playing that they don’t eat.. We had pizza for the kids and there were a lot left.. I think if this was part of the game for them, like having a “food truck” outside the play area where kids collect their food and sit that would be more interesting for them.. just a suggestion, otherwise everything was perfect and everyone loved it! Thank you

We celebrated my son’s 2nd birthday here and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the very first message, the coordination and communication were seamless — everything was handled with such care and professionalism. The team went above and beyond to make sure every little detail was perfect, and their service on the day was outstanding. Everything ran smoothly, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and they made the whole celebration feel special and effortless. Our guests were impressed, and my son had the most wonderful time — truly a birthday to remember! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a well-organized, stress-free, and joy-filled event.

I had heard such great things about this place, so I was really looking forward to our visit. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations, and to be completely honest, I left feeling disappointed. On arrival, check-in was fine — we were greeted alongside other families, but once we made our way through the gate, that was it. There wasn’t a particularly warm welcome or any guidance. We were just told to find a table and go play. It felt a bit abrupt, and I couldn’t help but wonder if they assumed we’d been before (we hadn’t). My daughter headed straight to the camping area, then over to the construction zone — which was frankly quite dirty. We moved on to the main shopping street and hairdresser areas, but despite being there for only 15 minutes or so, we found very little available to actually play with. What was there was either broken, tired, or in need of a good clean. After just 25 minutes, my nearly five-year-old turned to me and said, “Mummy, I don’t know what to play with now.” I tried to encourage her to choose a different area, and she did enjoy the theatre — which was probably the nicest part — but even then, the costumes were worn and in need of refreshing. What stood out to me most was the lack of staff engagement. In the 30–40 minutes we were there, I didn’t see any staff tidying up or resetting the areas, which meant toys and props were often scattered or unusable. I imagine parents would be more willing to help keep things tidy if there was a bit more visible effort from the team. Or maybe the cafe is the biggest draw?? I didn’t stick around to check that out :( Overall, I left early feeling very underwhelmed. Perhaps we just caught it on an off day, but based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend it — especially if you’ve never been to a role play cafe or centre before. There are better options out there.

We had a lovely time celebrating our son's 3rd birthday party on Saturday at PICNIC. Planning was a breeze from start to finish, Khadra was extremely helpful and accommodating to our requests, and made it easy to confirm and finalise all the necessary details. On the day the team were welcoming and friendly, and on hand to help with setup. Also, very importantly, they helped us in preparing the cake to present and then cut and serve to our guests. I was actually able to stop and have conversations with guests rather than run around non-stop hosting. They were also super efficient at cleaning up before and after our party. It's a lovely venue to celebrate your little one, the kids had an absolute blast and we look forward to our next visit. Thank you!

We held our 5 year old son's birthday party here yesterday. We have visited many times before so knew what to expect of the venue but had never hosted a party here. The staff were fantastic and so helpful, especially the person who was running it all (sorry that I didn't catch your name!). We were running a few minutes late to set up and when we arrived they had already started to get things ready for us which took a lot of the pressure off. I would definitely recommend the venue for hosting parties, all of the children had a great time.

We just had the most amazing party for our 5 year old. The staff were so incredibly helpful and made it such a lovely and stress-free party. I would definitely book again for another party!

We had an amazing party today for my 3yo! Communication was easy, they were incredibly accommodating. I was particularly impressed as how clean the venue was when we arrived and food both children and adults were offered was by far the best from all the party venues we visited. I cannot recommend them enough. All our guest were complimenting the venue and organisers as well. Thank you so much for such a great experience.

Feel like the staff were unwelcoming. Shops were decent. It was a dream for my two year old, being a fan of Blippi and seeing him visit places like this. Had to pay £4.50 for my 7 month old that cant crawl or climb or play at all really. And £5 for my husband and I. Little overpriced for the size of it. Great concept though.

First place I had taken my children since lockdown and they absolutely loved it. We got an hour and 45 minute slot which was just perfect timing for them (1 & 2) staff where really friendly, not overpriced at all and the menu for food and drink was very good. Would definitely recommend taking your children.
