   The kitchen was not particularly clean. We were advised they would provide table coverings for the tressles, we were handed off cuts/ remnant pieces which barely did that. The gremlin who manages the property hung around whilst our events team transformed the main room, taking pictures and showing potential clients around during our hire time, she did not think for one minute to consider if we agreed to the intrusion. During the milestone birthday celebration that nasty woman, Irina marched through the middle of the celebration in front of our guests and demanded the DJ reduced the music volume. We understand there are sound limits, so happy to adhere to the restrictions, but there are better ways of achieving this result. Don’t use this space for anything remotely ethnic or cultural. This is a coffee morning, Sunday school, line dancing, cream tea event space. The management team are not remotely diverse, the customer service is below par and the venue needs an upgrade because they do not have any fixed appropriate mechanical ventilation or cooling, which is a big fail in the middle of summer.

   While the venue's beauty, cleanliness, and spaciousness impressed, the lack of customer service was a significant letdown. The woman in charge appeared rude and unapproachable, lacking empathy during a sensitive time as we were organizing a wake. This disappointment added unnecessary anxiety to an otherwise well-maintained and reasonably priced venue.

   A bright and airy venue with a great management staff that looked after us right up to our beautiful day. Luda and Irina provided an incredible service by being available 24/7 and catering to last minute requests with professionalism. I will definitely be using Venue Space Hire again!

   What can I say. My father had his wedding at your venue on 25/06/2022, and it was absolutely amazing. We hired both the small hall and the main space. The venue was impeccable and the service provided by both Luda and Irina was second to none. All correspondence was handled in a professional and timely manner which made it very easy to plan our day. We received compliments from our guest on how lovely your venue was. We are extremely happy, it was so lovely working with you all and using your beautiful venue. I just wish I had another event soon as this is where I would host. No doubt we will see you again. Thank you so very much for everything.

   Worst experience ever!Never hire their hall! Extremely rude, unprofessional and bad mamagement team. They hold our security deposit of £350 unjustly when we 1st booked the hall for 2020, when we asked for a refund due to pandemic they refused to do so, asking us to reschedule the program. Whereas, every business refunded their customers for pandemic. Finally when we managed to reschedule our event in May 2022, after the event, they charged us unethically £200 for staying extra hour and charged £100 for waste disposal where we asked their event manager if the bins can be kept outside and with her agreement we disposed our rubbish in black bins, placed them next to their bin as their bin was full before we use it. At the time of booking or at the party they never informed us about any possible charges. The event manager was rude. They do not clarify and have big lack of communication. Stay away from hiring this hall!

   The Subud Hall is a superb venue to hire. It has the perfect floor for Ballet classes, and it is always clean, tidy and warm with added boosters for those extra cold days in the Winter. It is a very attractive hall with with "State of the Arts" lighting for all occassions. A well designed kitchen, a large disabled toilet with Baby changing facility. Upstairs there is a smaller hall also well maintained. Plus 2 toilets. All with the added benifit of a car park adjacent to the hall and another just opposite. Thoroughly recommended.
