A fantastic venue for performing arts! The 2nd time I have been here and I love it. The facilities are great and the staff are welcoming. I like the seated aspect of the main space. Everyone takes their own little space to enjoy whatβs on. (Cushions available for sore bums) The bars were well stocked and sold actual brands. (Other venues, not naming names) The toilets were clean and tidy.

Just saw Ozrics play here. What a wonderful space!! Got that whole Zollander βderelictβ thing going on. Super easy to get to on the tube. Massive space and enormous stage. Easy to sit, easy to stand. Take some ear protection though - very loud sound system! Nice selection of mezcal and vodkas. Clean toilets and a smoking area. Who could ask for more?

I went to watch a live gig in the theatre space (Maybeshewill). The layout of the venue is good, there's a nice bar downstairs, with plenty of seating and a smoking area. There was no queue for toilets or drinks and the toilets were clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The sound system is amazing, best sound quality I've heard for a long time. I'd recommend making use of the cushions for the theatre seats, and be prepared for some strong air con! It would have been good to have some signs or menus up with drink options and prices as it was a bit hard to tell what was available. I'd definitely come here again!

Went to see Joan As Police Woman. Great concert and attractive venue. Art deco cinema with seats removed and audience sitting on tiered banks - good views of stage. Only issue was the sound quality. Big speakers above stage seemed muffled in the higher range - vocals were rather lost.

Very cool venue. Drinks not too expensive. Wicked old theatre building. I like the galleried seating, though it's in need of a bigger dance area.

Lovely staff, so professional, they deserve to be nominated, my type of human beings. Atmospherical venue with descent acoustic. Respect to sound and lighting engineers, well done guys!!! Definitely should consider visiting. p.s. prepare to pay extra for a pint, but this is part of reality, I suppose.

Love the restoration work on this beautiful old art deco cinema, the original features are gorgeous. However there are a lot of stairs and corridors are narrow so expect lots of crowding and queueing when at events.

Visited for a concert so the most important thing are the acoustics and view. I'm please to say it was top notch for both. The audiance area is made up of wooden steps that can be sat on too. There are also a few rows of seats at the front. A good unobstructed view can be had from anywhere it would appear. The stage is very large for the size of the auditorium and lends itself to dramatic presentations. The only thing to spoil it a little was that some of those further back came forward later in the show to stand against the stage blocking the view of those seated.

Itβs a really beautiful venue and would love to come back again 10/10. Staff were also super helpful. Went there for a talk and there was also a gig on mid week at the same time - I canβt say these mix super well but it wasn't too disruptive. I like that I'm seeing more cultural events being held

A unique venue in North London that is well worth the effort to get to. The event I attended was very well managed from the front of house staff through to all the security team, and everyone was made to feel very welcome The venue has a lovely look and feel to it, which helps to add a lot of character to the wonderful building If you get the chance, I highly recommend this arts venue
