London Transport Museum is a fantastic place to visit with kids — there’s genuinely loads for them to do. The interactive exhibits are engaging, hands-on, and really well thought out, which kept the children entertained throughout while still being interesting for adults. We were especially lucky to visit when Santa was there, which made the whole experience even more magical and memorable for the kids. That extra festive touch really elevated the day. Overall, a brilliant family-friendly museum that’s both fun and educational. Highly recommend for a relaxed and enjoyable day out with children.

Fantastic museum in Covent Gardens, all the years and all the time I've spent in Covent Garden I didn't realize it was there. Loads to see and if you have half a day to spare you could do a lot worse than spend your time here, where there is something for all the family and also there are great facilities here, including refreshmentsand somewhere to eat and a fabulous shop to buy souvenirs. If you haven't visited before I highly recommend it

They don't have a casual or one time ticket so I had to get an annual pass of £25. Definitely great if you live in London and can go there to hangout whenever you feel like to, it's a fun place! I still really enjoyed seeing and learning about the changes of transportation in London.

Our visit to the London Transport Museum was absolutely fantastic — a perfect family day out that delighted all three of us! My wife, our 5-year-old son, and I spent an entire afternoon exploring the fascinating history of London’s transport system, and we could easily have stayed even longer. From the moment we stepped in, we were impressed by how beautifully the museum is organized. It takes you on a journey through time — from the horse-drawn carriages of the 1800s, through the early underground trains, right up to the sleek modern buses and Tube carriages we see today. The displays are engaging and full of interesting details that bring the city’s transport story to life. What made this visit truly special, though, was how family-friendly it is. Our son had an incredible time with all the interactive exhibits and play zones designed for children. He especially loved pretending to drive a red double-decker bus and exploring the mini Tube simulator — he didn’t want to leave! The museum does an amazing job of blending learning with play, so both kids and adults are entertained and informed. The staff were warm, helpful, and clearly passionate about the museum’s mission. The museum shop was also well-stocked with lovely souvenirs — our son insisted on getting a toy Routemaster bus to remember the day. Overall, the London Transport Museum is a must-visit, whether you’re a history enthusiast, a transport lover, or a family looking for an educational yet fun experience. We left with smiles, great memories, and a newfound appreciation for how London moves!

Should be a rating of 5 but for something out of the museums control and possibly unfair of me. Firstly it is a great museum, it isn't just about buses and trains. It tells the story of the development and social history of London. It is modern, with interesting exhibitions and a first class cafe. Known as the Canteen, it is reasonably priced for Central London, with a good menu and staff. Now to my gripe. Why do parents take babies and toddlers to such places. They are too young to appreciate or enjoy it. There were crying and screaming young children everywhere. Unpopular opinion I know but I've said it.

Nice museum, very child-friendly! It's a great opportunity to take a trip through epochs from horse-driven omnibus to the tube. A lot of interactive installations don't make your child bored. The ticket is valid for a year so we will visit it again! Consider buying tickets in advance as you may spend quite a lot of time in the queue.

An informative and enjoyable museum full of London’s rich history of transportation. It took a little over an hour to go through everything and it was great. They have some actual historical vehicles in the museum and you really gain an appreciation for the evolution of how we got to where we are today. The staff was also great, with the lady making sure we only bought the cheaper ticket relevant to tourists.

A family friendly museum that will entertain and occupy little ones for hours. You only pay for adults - and the fee is reasonable. There is so much to see and do inside. Much of it is interactive, and all of it is informative and entertaining, from the old horse drawn trans to the first Underground trains and modern trains and buses. Kids (and grown-ups) can climb on and have a go at being a driver, explore the city’s history, and generally have a great old time.

I visited after doing some of the hidden London tours which get you a discount entry to the museum. I have been before but a while ago. Whilst obviously a lot of things would still be the same there were bits that were new to me. This is a great museum with so much to see and quite a lot of things that you can go into and other things that you can do like simulators and things with buttons and proper working traffic lights.
