   We went to this on July 19th, 2025, and wow — I had such a great time with my sister! It was our first time ever trying an escape room, and it was honestly amazing. Super challenging but so rewarding. Even though we didn’t manage to finish the room, it was totally worth it. The room we did was 'A Hidden Past'. Incredible first escape room for beginners like us. It’s a bit of a shame that it’s closing in about nine days, but I’m really glad we got to experience it while it was still around. Definitely a 10/10 experience — I loved it and will absolutely be checking out more escape rooms near croydon/london in the future. Thanks for the awesome memory! Forgot the name of our agent but thank you for being awesome!!

   Me and my partner played both change the record and silence is a virtue here recently and they were both excellent escape rooms! However the games master Abi made the experience 10 times better, providing intel and even giving us our own secret agent names. 10/10 Service would 100% be back here again, even if it was just to edge the bomb! Thanks Abi!

   My friends and I went to Exciting Escapes Croydon escape rooms and took part in 'The voices we hear' room. The horror room. The experience is a bit on the pricey side but gets cheaper the more people who take part. The actual experience was brilliant. We had agent Abi who clearly loves her job and gave us a few little nudges when we were struggling all perfectly timed and usually we had worked it out already just not quite linked it to the right code! A credit to the team. I won't tell you much about the room but we did have to go for a drink after to calm our nerves! Would recommend and we are definitely going back.

   My daughter and her friends had a great time there for her birthday. The set is really exciting and does give an impression of an undercover agent. They enjoyed using all the props. The staff were excellent, really friendly and great with the kids. There was a room where we could put food out afterwards and the staff checked on us regular to see if we had any needs. A great experience, definately recommend and want to go back again soon.

   My son had an amazing time at the Exciting Escapes with his school friend for his 13th birthday! The staff were welcoming and made sure they were ready for the challenge. The room had clever puzzles and thrilling twists that kept them engaged and working together as a team. It was a fun and unique way to celebrate, and they all had an unforgettable experience. We'll definitely be back for more! Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a fun activity with twist an turns!

   My friends and I have done a lot of escape rooms and this has got to be the worst one. We picked it because of the 90s vibe and it was 5 star difficulty. The only good thing about the room was the decor, it was pretty cool. Most of the problem solving required too many leaps that you couldn’t infer from the clues. It’s hard to explain exactly what I mean but I think good escape rooms shouldn’t require you to guess much, and they shouldn’t have long pieces of paper over explaining what you have to do - that infers that the clue hasn’t been thought out that well. We had at least 3 issues while in the room - eg a phone not working, one of the clues had a lock on it that was already unlocked when we got in. The phone thing wasn’t solved very quickly, it was frustrating because we were explaining to them that we were doing it right but it just wasn’t working and they didn’t seem to understand that it was the phone’s fault rather than us! The whole room was just very frustrating and the last clue in particular was so annoyingly not good! The person who welcomed us was also very not in the mood which is not the end of the world but i think people who like escape rooms hosting makes an escape room so much better! I see lots of good reviews, maybe the other rooms are better or it’s better for people who haven’t done escape rooms before, but honestly this was such a disappointing trip!!

   Goodness me!!! My team and I were there and it was challenging to solve the problems. My favourite was tracking the combination numbers. I listened My team's secret codes and I did it, 3 things. I am very proud of myself! Woohoo! You would love it all!

   We had a fabulous time celebrating my sister’s birthday at Exciting Escapes Croydon, on Sunday. Our Games Master was Alfie - he was a delight; fun and so informative. We did the room in record time - 35 mins 25 seconds ( having all expected to be useless. We will definitely be back for more. Thanks Alfie!
