   Just finished a 90 minute trek with DPT. What a lovely, friendly and professional experience! Neither of us had ridden for a very long time so the instructors spent time assessing us and making us feel ready, comfortable and safe before the walk. The ponies, Sassy (delightful) and Rufus (a real character - he likes hedges!) were fabulous and we really enjoyed a lovely trek with Jayne who couldn’t have been chattier or more knowledgeable. A perfect way to see a beautiful part of the world. Many thanks!!

   Had a really fun 2 hour ride on Connie. Trek leader Amelie looked after us really well. Horses seem happy and fit. The yard is right on a bend and has a very small entrance but my gps took me right there.

   We had a lovely ride today. Took two boys 8 and 6 who have never been on a horse before and they loved the experience. Gentle horses and a nice steady pace. Verity was brilliant with the kids and chatted during the whole ride. Will definitely be back next time we're down here.

   Had a lovely morning with hubby and 3 grandchildren aged between 10 and 19. All of us not been riding for a few years, a little apprehensive at first but soon settled down, horses lovely, very nice temperament, staff lovely, very chatty and made to feel at ease. What a lovely ride.

   I went for 1.5 hour trek with DPT and they are absolutely incredible. They pair you with the right horse for you, they instruct you on how to stop, walk and turn once you are on the horse to make sure you are comfortable. (I haven’t ridden in years so this was a nice refresher). The trek had amazing scenery and there are so many routes. All the staff are so lovely and know each horse well which makes you feel more confident that they know their behaviour etc. Amazing experience, thanks so much DPT team.

   We had 3 rides over 3 days. A wonderful experience from a great team. Amazing selection of horses which for me were April, Rufus and Ace. All 3 were a joy to be with, gentle and compliant and filled me with confidence. The trails were very enjoyable, especially the final day, passing the Llama farm and visiting the Viewing Point where you can see 4 counties. Highly recommend and we will return.

   I took my twelve-year-old daughter Pony Trekking, she used to be a member of the Pony Club but hasn't been riding for 3 years. Kelsey at Derbyshire Pony Trekking was absolutely brilliant! Kelsey reminded us how to mount the horse correctly, how to hold and tighten the reins andhow to direct the horse. She also told us about the horses we were riding, was friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely book again!
