   The best thing we ever did, was walking through those double doors at Drapers one September night many years ago. Since then we have made some wonderful friends, and learned some fantastic dances. The team of dance teachers are just simply the best.

   Myself and my husband attend the adult Latin and Ballroom classes here. Hayley is an amazing teacher, the way she is able to teach the class but also notices when individuals need assistance. Each class we attend is a joy and the team put so much effort into providing lots of additional classes and social options.

   Drapers is an amazing family run dance school that has champions running through its vains. A great place for all ages to start their dance journey or to carry on their current dance skills. My daughter started Drapers when very small & now competes as a teenager. Drapers encourage everyone to dance no matter what age/ability or fitness levels. You can dance for fun, for class medals to compete or just simply to make fabulous friends.

   From the minute you walk into Drapers you are welcomed by friendly, caring staff who make you feel at ease. By the time you leave you have jaw aches from all the laughter, you have made a bunch of wonderful friends and the thought of why didn’t I challenge myself to learn to dance sooner. It does not matter if you are feeling anxious or have two (or four) left feet between you, the staff have all the patience in the world and have many ways to get your feet moving in the right direction. As well as the traditional ballroom (waltz, tango, foxtrot & quickstep) and latin (cha cha cha, rumba, samba & jive) dance classes there is so many other dance styles you can learn, sequence dances, freestyle dance for the kids, rock and roll, salsa, and if you don’t have a partner don’t worry you can learn the dances in a solo class. If you want to build up a sweat then there is the Fit Step classes too which are brilliant, energetic and fun. The team also put on fantastic social events on a Saturday evening and there are lots of opportunities to go and watch how the professionals dance in Blackpool. We have been coming to Drapers now for over 6 years and just love being at the centre learning new dances and making new friends, so why not come and give it a go, you will love it.

   We've been going to Drapers for around 5 years. All the teachers are great, the place has a lovely atmosphere and there are always social events and trips to Dance competitions happening. You can't go wrong here!

   My daughter has been going to Drapers since she was 2 1/2 and she’s now 6. The staff are lovely and professional and the venue is brilliant. I took my daughter to introduce her to listening and learning from a teacher and it really paid off especially in advance of her starting school and gave her an invaluable experience. She loves the teachers and the classes, learning many different kinds of dances at a technical level which amazes me with them being so young. They grasp the tuition and relish the challenge. Give Drapers a try. You’ll not regret it.
