    The location is just great! Both the hotel and the pub were fabulous. The staff were very nice and welcoming. Our room was nicely clean and had everything we needed. It was very quiet and peaceful around the hotel. They have a huge parking lot. We had an exceptional English breakfast in the morning, which was included in our booking. All in all, I'm more than happy to go back to the Cat & Lion, and I'd definitely recommend this place.

    I had an amazing stay Thursday evening at The Cat & Lion pub. The food was lovely and the staff were polite and efficient. Checking my meal was satisfactory, without being annoyingly insincere and intrusive. Charlotte who was working the bar, and took my breakfast order the following morning was polite, professional and customer focussed. The pubs customer service is excellent, so too was the traditional breakfast! The room was clean, welcoming with a very comfortable bed. The shower was excellent. Overall a great establishment. I will look forward to staying here again in the future.

    Great hotel and pub. Stayed here for the night when passing through. Hotel very clean, rooms clean snd tidy. Pub food excellent. Disapointed no draught coke though

    Really convenient location for attending wedding at Arley Hall. Bedrooms fine and bed comfy. Bathroom and shower good. Breakfast is taken in the pub and was included and was very good.

    I've stayed here with work for 4 weeks or so. The food and drink in the attached restaurant had always been very nice and really well priced. Staff have always been very friendly and attentive. Some of the rooms are dated, but overall fine. They are undergoing renovations and I've seen the new rooms which look amazing. Overall, a very good place to stay.
