“Kerry and Zach gave excellent customer service and went above and beyond. I happened to mention I’d be checking out very early the following morning. Kerry and Zach organised a small breakfast bag for me when they didn’t have to. They also switched on the coffee machine for a takeaway coffee. A lovely gesture. Additionally, the room was very clean and maintained to a high standard. Convenient location when visiting Warrington. Thank you for a pleasant stay. Daniel”

“Check n was very straight forward. We were asked if we were party of the wedding party, which we were not. Gab on reception immediately changed our room as it has allocated us one where the wedding group were staying, so that our room would be quieter. And it was. Our room was extremely quite and comfortable. And the rooms are beautifully decorated. And the bed was super comfortable. It was actually a shame we stayed for only 1 night. Id definitely stay here again.”

“To counter some of the very negative reviews, I am giving five stars. I'm not saying that this is the Ritz but I read the poor reviews but had, in fact, a good experience. This is a disenfranchised Ibis hotel and it feels it. It is in a little need of refurbishment with some makeshift repairs evident. The vibe is definitely French budget hotel. Our room was fairly priced, clean, quiet and our family room had a very firm double bed and a rather soft sofa bed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful; we managed to retrieve some lost property which they made plenty of effort to return it to us. The corridors were in a good state and there were no unpleasant odours. On noise, it was all very quiet but, come the dawn, there were some bumps and bangs and one could imagine that inconsiderate guests would be a problem. Notably, the WiFi wasn't working and this might be a persistent issue which the hotel should address, particularly for foreign visitors. Lymm is a big, busy (exciting, even?) truckstop less than five minutes off the motorway and it is always possible to get something to eat.”

“I had my first haircut and beard trim appointment with Anthony at Barber 48 today. I was looking for a barbershop that could provide a more premium experience than your run-of-the-mill ‘Turkish’ barbershop, and Barber 48 definitely does just that! Anthony is a great barber. In short, he gave me the best haircut and beard trim I’ve had in a LONG time. Not only is he a fantastic barber, but he’s also a great guy to have a chat with. The barbershop is really classy, yet it has a very welcoming feel to it. There’s also the added benefit of ‘Bear the French Bulldog’ being there, too. Anthony will definitely be my new barber from now on.”

“Transferred to this hotel on short notice after a miserable experience at the original hotel that was booked for my stay. And was so happy that I did! Clean, well equipped, and very comfortable rooms (I stayed in 2 during my visit as, unfortunately, this hotel was fully booked for 2 nights of my time in Manchester). Communication with staff was seamless, prompt, and attentive throughout. In particular, Zach was very kind in helping me out with the last minute change of plans. I will definitely return should my travels bring me back to Manchester!”

“Wonderful off the beaten path campsite. Great for decompressing and a great night's sleep. The sites are large, grassy, and hard surfaces available. As soon as we arrived and had a look round, a young man came by to ask if all was well and to point out the water spigot. Because it's off the beaten path, bring food for your stay. I didn't see a washer or dryer, but that's not always needed. The bathrooms were very cozy, and I loved them! It felt like being in my grandma's bathroom! Nothing fancy but clean, and everything worked well. I would definitely stay here again. Also dog, sheep, cow, geese, and duck friendly!”

“I had a wonderful dining experience at The Partridge after a walk around Marbury Park. The staff were warm, attentive, and welcoming. They were also very accommodating to us with dogs, staff also giving them a fuss and a biscuit each (we had 3 spaniels), which created a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere. Overall, a lovely meal and an enjoyable visit. Will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend the ‘Partridge buddha bowl with added Halloumi’ which tasted delicious.”

“Celebrated my wife's 30th birthday here on Easter Saturday in the garden bar. Paul and all the staff made it a brilliant night for everybody, nothing was too much trouble, even supplied a DJ for the night. The buffet food was excellent, and plenty of beers to choose from at good prices. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to book for a birthday party! Thanks again to everyone at the kings head.”

“10/10 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and spa. Lots of free parking available on arrival we were offered a complimentary cookie (vegan and gluten free option available) which was a lovely touch. The spa was beautiful and treatments were amazing. All the staff were lovely and helpful. The room was also very nice and clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The food in the garden room was amazing thanks to the chef James and our server Ava was amazing and made sure my dietary requirements were met. Breakfast was also great. Overall 10/10 experience and I’ll be back”

“We ended up booking this hotel last minute—just hours before check-in—after a disappointing experience with our Airbnb. Despite the short notice, the staff at Premier Inn Rainhill were incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially Dave, who went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and comfortable. The hotel is small and located a bit far from the city centre, but the area is peaceful and well-connected, making it a convenient choice if you're okay with a short commute. Dave made a real difference—he was attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Overall, a great experience that turned a stressful day into a comfortable one. We’ll definitely consider staying here again on our next trip to Liverpool!”

“The hotel is easy to access, and check in via Donna on reception was friendly and she had me checked in quickly. Car registrations need to be added into an iPad in reception to avoid a parking ticket. Donna also offered me a list of restaurants and local takeaways as the restaurant is closed for renovations. There is a McDonald’s next door, which does a job. There’s a coffee machine that’s free to use, with complimentary croissants in reception. Rooms are a good standard and spotlessly clean, with free toiletries via a wall mounted bottles. The free Wi-Fi is terrible and completely unusable.”
