“I could not fault any part of my stay here. I booked this as a base for my business meeting the following day. I received a warm welcome from Harro upon my arrival. The bedroom was very clean and a good size with a very comfortable bed. The en suite was also nice and clean and had a good shower. My breakfast next morning was lovely and Harro went out of his way to ensure I got away on time for my meeting. It is a perfect base for exploring the area or using as a base for meetings in that area. There is a lovely pub serving good value food a couple of minutes walk up the road. I had a relaxing, comfortable and quiet stay here and would highly recommend it. I'll certainly be back when I have business in that area.”

“The rooms were nice, all decorated in different styles. They were clean and good enough to stay in. The scenery outside the carpark was lovely. I think the room could have had better lighting, the lights were all very dim. The plugs by the bed are also old style plugs so the only plug you can use for phone charger or anything else is next to the dressing table, it would be better if there was a bedside one. I thought it was lovely that there was information in a book in the room about local companies, the history of the farm etc. The staff are lovely and the food was nice. They have options available that are gluten free/coeliac safe. The TV in the room could have been bigger but other than that, it was great. The price of the room I think was a bit high considering these things that could be improved.”

“A lovely placed campsite with great staff. Very easy to check in and had no issues. The only small issue is the lack of temperature regulation, we struggled with the heat of the showers (Mainly as it was 32 degrees out) would be nice if you had a form of heat adjustment. Brilliant site, quiet and generous pitches”

“This place was the UK's best kept secret! We will be telling everyone about it. It even had its own turtles. The food was great, the service above and beyond and we will definitely plan to be back at some stage. A great family running a great place.”

“Great place, stayed here for two nights. Lots to do, Blakemere village just off the site. Food and drinks, craft shops, bike hire, antique shops. Facilities on site spotless(best we've seen). Friendly helpful staff. We will definitely return.”

“Stayed for 1 night (18/09/25) & it was so nice. Everywhere was spotless, the staff were friendly & helpful & the best part was the music playing in the toilets & showers. Loved singing along (badly) & dancing away whilst having a shower!! Would definitely recommend”

“Wonderful off the beaten path campsite. Great for decompressing and a great night's sleep. The sites are large, grassy, and hard surfaces available. As soon as we arrived and had a look round, a young man came by to ask if all was well and to point out the water spigot. Because it's off the beaten path, bring food for your stay. I didn't see a washer or dryer, but that's not always needed. The bathrooms were very cozy, and I loved them! It felt like being in my grandma's bathroom! Nothing fancy but clean, and everything worked well. I would definitely stay here again. Also dog, sheep, cow, geese, and duck friendly!”

“We came here for a surprise birthday celebration weekend and could not have asked for a better setting. The lodge was beautiful and exceeded my expectations, it was spacious, immaculate and had all the amenities required for the stay. The location was stunning coupled with the hot tub made for the perfect getaway. The available activities at the nearby Wild Shore make a fantastic addition for both couples and families who want to experience something different. We'd definitely book here again and with the addition of the lodges being dog friendly, makes it all the more exceptional.”

“We had a fab stay at these cute lodges to celebrate my birthday! Loved the sheltered hot tub, suitable for all weather conditions! Great location for a trip to the Fishpool Inn too, just a short walk away. We also headed to the forest the day after , a short drive away. The pods were warm and cosy, and you can park close by to carry your stuff into the cabin. Loved it!”
