Limited cat parking and was redirected to train station car park which was a 5 minute walk away. Rooms were very hot at night so had to have window open with a noisy road. Downstairs bar area is quite cool and staff were all very helpful. It's about a ten minute walk from the centre of the city. It's probably good value for money if you need somewhere near the train station but we probably won't stay again.

The Moxy is a lovely hotel located very close to the train station, rooms are clean, a good size and very comfortable. I love the decor of the hotel, very nice touches all around the hotel On arrival, i was greeted by a very friendly team and checked in. Hotel has some construction work ongoing but it didnt disrupt a lot of activities / service indoors Breakfast is served in the lobby and is a food spread - can't fault it. Parking onsite is a little limited but there are loads of spaces at the station car park at an affordable price. All in all, its a really nice unique space with a very friendly team

Very basic hotel for a Marriot. Have stayed in Moxyβs before far superior to this one. It was like staying in a building site, this was the view from our hotel room window. Definitely not a relaxing couples hotel, it was so loud and noisy with all the work going on. I was not made aware of the work being carried out when I booked it. Workmen started banging and bashing at 8am every morning. No parking on site even to drop off our bags for 2 nights stay. Parking was 10 min walk away at the train station, not ideal if less able like myself. Breakfast was very basic and no communication from staff whatsoever.

I visited Chester for the day (night trips) and I was feeling a bit unwell, so decided to go for a day reservation. It was just what I needed! Bed was so comfy, I had the best nap ever. Hotel is quiet and room was lovely, tidy clean, and nicely decorated. Polite and welcoming staff, I'll have Moxy hotels in mind for any of my future trips :)

Stayed here this weekend. Great hotel. The staff were lovely. We got a free welcome cocktail. Room was great with everything needed. Good price on drinks at the bar. Car park was too small though with people parking curbside. Found a nearby car park that was Β£8 for 24 hours and just a short walk away. Would definitely stay here again

Excellent location, very helpful and friendly staff, rooms clean & the shower was excellent. Parking is an issue though. We managed to get a space which was lucky. As we left people were driving round looking for parking spaces. If you can travel by train then it's only a short walk from the train station. The one issue we did have was the room temperature. Which at over 27 degrees at the end of December is a bit ridiculous. We were advised to turn the AC off & open the window, which we did. It didn't make much difference. Even after a room change we were still struggling to sleep. This is something that definitely needs sorting out. Because it's really uncomfortable & makes it difficult to sleep.

Trendy hotel that's actually very nice inside. Love all the writing that's around the building it was entertaining. Great breakfast just a shame that it's a bit disjointed it's all in different sections and people aren't co-ordinated so it's a bit of a free for all when you might be a bit delicate and not need that first thing! Only downside for me is that they shut the bar early, we'd been encouraged to come back to the bar as it's open til 1 and then the friendly faces that were there earlier had been replaced by one angry young man who told everyone very bluntly that the bar was shut due to a lack of staff.

We spent our anniversary weekend here. It was a lovely stay. The location was perfect! Very close to the town center, Zoo and lots of great restaurants. The hotel was very funky and well presented! The room was lovely. Cleaned daily too! Friendly and accommodating staff. My only complaint would be the parking. We was there for 4 days in total. And only managed to get parked outside on our final day/ night there. But the staff were helpful in advising food parking spots nearby.
