Had a meal gifted for the Egerton via Groupon. Meal lovely lots of choice. My husband loved the steak and Ale pie. Stacey who mostly served us was very helpful and cheerful. Got my hubby some gravy to go with his pie. Can recommend. The set had plenty of choice and the main menu looked great too. Thank you Stacey

Visited on the 4th May, after spending the day at Oulton Park, we were starving and exhausted after attempting 2 places before that weren't serving food(2 adults 2kids). We arrived here in hope of some good food. When we arrived all staff that crossed our paths were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We were seated straight away handed a menu with friendly talk from staff with the 2 kids. Drinks were quick. We ordered our food, when our food came it was hot and look amazing. All four of our meals were faultless, a great portion size and wasn't much left, our belly's full. We decided on our desserts, they also arrived quickly and again absolutely amazing. Our bill was £100, this was x4 main meals x2 adults and x2 child's, 4 desserts, x2 pints of lager x3 J20s. A very fair price for the quantity of food. We cannot fault anything from start to finish. Places like these are hard to find especially with happy to be there staff, it makes all the difference so everyone that worked that evening well done and thank you for a pleasant visit. We'll be sure to go back when we are in the area again
Wonderfully placed less than 2 miles from the 2023 English National Cross Country me and my partner found this wonderful place to collapse. We could relax and sleep in what look like very newly decorated rooms. Dinner in the pub downstairs was GREAT, thoroughly recommend the falafel burger and cheesecake! But what made that was the service, personal and friendly. Basically just what we wanted and an amazing price for all this, i mean i think that is proven by the tip that i very happily added to the bill. thank you all for a lovely stay.
Very good experience recently for a group of 8 of us. We'd come off the golf course earlier then expected and they managed to accommodate us earlier then the booked time. Excellent food and draught ale. Very attentive staff.
A first time spur of the moment find on our way home. Staff were so lovely and great with my granddaughter. They have a table with a selection of games and activities to enjoy while dining or drinking. Food was exceptional (children's portion was huge) and very reasonably priced. Will definitely go out of our way to visit again. Thank you
First time visit en route home from Chester Zoo. Ordered 3x Sunday lunches which were excellent. Beef was cooked to perfecton, not overly salty, and accompanying veg also cooked well. Staff very polite and helpful. Gave explanation of why our meal was delayed (which wasn't that long, to be fair) and gave various options to make up for the delay. Would recommend, and visit again when in the area. Thank you to all.
Thank you so much for a lovely evening. We booked for a group of 9 and had a fantastic meal - clean plates all round! We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the games/puzzles were perfect for entertaining us all; from the little ones to the grandparents. Wonderful!
