Constant door slamming from scummy tradesman in vans. Including 5am. No chance of getting a night's sleep. Bang bang bang constantly. Not clean. Water was off for a while. Window insulation is so bad you can hear people 3 floors down talking. Only 1 staff on site. Stay away.

Budget 2 star hotel with attendant quality. Start positive the bed was comfortable and clean. Towels were clean. If you just want somewhere to sleep for a night, perfect. The rest of the furniture is tired. The desk only had one opening drawer, which was stiff and a little bit dusty. The other drawer was fake or did not open. This drawer was marred with paint spills/marks. USB C sockets not working. Toilet took two or three attempts to flush contents fully away. Hand wash soap was very thin, I'd suspect topped up with water rather than soap. Shower very weak. Water saved in shower lost by multiple flushing of loo. The rooms are not serviced unless you request it by hanging a notice on your door - before 11am. And even then it does not extend to making the bed. When we returned to the room, at approximately, 4pm on the second day we found the room door wedged open and a tradesman in the room adjusting the wall heater. The hotel was not heavily booked so why choose our room to do so late in the day and not inform us? So we had a weird 15 minutes bouncing around in a small room with bed unmade, door wide open and tradesman banging bits heating system. Oh and on the heater it pings and pops every time the heating element is on. Internal sound insulation is poor. We were on the first floor and you could hear the front door banging every time some on came in. Finally parking is very restricted and shared with the Toby. We arrived arrived at 3:30pm and got the last space.

An older Travelodge, but still a very good one. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Check in staff friendly and helpful, even offered to help me carry my stuff upstairs as there was no lift. Had a great sleep and the shower was good. Free car park on site too

This is a nice hotel, but be wary, it is smaller than it appears in the photos. Have no lift. Not very many rooms downstairs so double check your booking. Especially if you are disabled. It is not clear on the booking system.

Great location, service from reception very friendly and warm. Could do with a bit of repainting here and there but overall good. Room spacious and comfortable very clean. Can't here the road inside of room which i was worried about. Highly recommended for location and value for money!

We had never stayed in a Travelodge before, but always another companies. On our arrival at this site, we were greeted with a very warm greeting by the receptionist, called Elaine. Nothing was too much trouble, from advising us on local take-away's (even offering us plates and cutlery should we need them) saying if we needed more refreshments, just ask and even called us a taxi to get to our family party! When walking into the building , it smelt so clean and fresh and it continued into our room. The room was clean, fresh and airy. Our room (209) was very quiet and had a few wooden beams, making it feel extra cosy. The step in shower was very powerful and hot. The dials allowed you to chose the pressure and temperature, although my only concern was it was a little slippy. The bed... WOW! never have I slept on a mattress so comfortable. I did not want to get up and go home. All in all, would I recommend this to others...Yes I would. Will definitely return when next visiting, and we will also visit the Chinese, (New Sam's) again. Such a large menu to choose from (Chinese and English food,) large portions for a small price.

Great little Travelodge in a good location. Rooms immaculate in all ways, reception staff very friendly and accomodating. Good car parking.

It's a travel lodge, room was clean as you would expect no frills or fancy, lost mark's some rooms near busy road, small tight car park and the pub attached had no food by 20:00 so a disappointment for a late check-in or traveller but there's a good Indian round the corner.
