I stayed in a shared room of 6 beds in this hostel for the weekend of 3 of October, i would recommend it, rooms donβt have too much people and the atmosphere is nice, it was clean and bathroom was inside the room. Breakfast was fine and the location is good enough. All for a really good price. The only thing i will improve is the pressure of the shower.

A good enough hostel - we stayed in a private room, shared bathroom. There are a lot of corridors so it was hard to find at first, and no elevator so be ready for stairs. Showers don't have anywhere to place toiletries in the shower itself, and the bedroom didnt have any powerpoints that our adapter could be used with, only usb and even then not all of the points worked. Also no aircon so we had the windows open all night with lots of smoke smell and noise at all hours as we were directly above the entry/outside tables.

One of the best hostels ive stayed in. Friendly staff, great price, garden area, self catering and bar food, great dining area. Rooms extremely clean, and spacious. Near to Albert Docks and walking distance to central Liverpool. Highly recommend

The hostel has a fantastic location β almost in the city center but still in a quiet area, just a 5-minute walk from The Beatles Museum. I really liked the security system: you cannot access any floor or room without a pass, which made me feel very safe. When I arrived, my 8-bed dorm only had 6 lockers. I asked about it, and the staff immediately moved me to another room with a locker β super fast and helpful! The room was clean, and I liked that the bathroom and toilet were separate. The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help. Another big plus is that you can leave your luggage after check-out until your departure, which was very convenient. In the bathroom, there were no hooks or space to put personal belongings, which was a bit uncomfortable. The pillows were also quite thin and not very comfortable to sleep on.

Good location near the docks with commodities. Great space with books and games. Possibility to access washing machine on site which is very useful if staying a few days. Spacious rooms however room was very warm, unable to open the window wide, it was 20 outside but much more inside the room with no fan or air con. Staff is brilliant, helpful and polite.

Stayed here for a night out in Liverpool for a friends birthday. It was a group booking of 20 girls with ages ranging from 20 up to 75. Great location. The hostel was clean same with our rooms staff were very helpful and polite nothing was too much trouble! Check in was smooth and quick for saying we were a large group. The rooms were a really good price compared to other hotels Liverpool that were over double the price. It wasnβt a problem to leave our bags on arrival as couldnβt get in the rooms till 3pm but there is a great little pub across the rd while we waited for our rooms to be ready. It was the same on checkout we could leave our luggage while going to do some sightseeing before heading home. Great stay and wouldnβt hesitate to stay here again!

Have just returned from a 2 night stay here. We have stayed at other Youth Hostel locations though this was our first time at this one. The free parking and central location were definitely plus points. The hostel was clean and tidy. The room we had was large enough for the four of us with a double bed, a set of bunk beds and a couch as well as private en suite facilities and a cupboard/locker. There was a problem with the water pressure in our room making the shower unusable (our only real criticism of our stay), staff were aware and advised us to use the communal ones across the hall (one of these also seemed to be suffering with the same issue). All facilities were clean. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful for us. Another plus point is the communal kitchen area where you can bring your own food to prepare and cook or just heat up pre prepared meals, everybody who used them made sure to leave them clean and tidy for the next people (it is big enough for 2 groups to use at the same time with 2 ovens/hobs, 2 microwaves, 2 sinks as well as plenty of plates/cups/cutlery etc.). Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Brilliant, clean and so, so convenient. Some parking, all accessible. Fantastic value and the staff were top notch. Liverpool vs Everton was on so a real mix of visitors. Self cook kitchen very well appointed and the rascals said the ordered breakfast was grand. Gave five stars for everything because the value was unbelievable. If you want the Hilton then pay Hilton prices. If you want a base to go and do things then the YHA is hard to beat. Will use again

Really liked our stay here. We planned a trip to Liverpool to see the stadium and other tourist places. Since we were hard pressed for time, we decided to make it a short trip of less than 2 days (1.5 days and 1 night). This meant that hotel options were limited since all of them were expensive for this short stay and not worth it since we wonβt be in the room for long. We just needed a place to crash. After going through hostel online we found this place that offered it at 35Β£ a night. Thought it might be sketchy since well you canβt expect much from a hostel but my god were we in for a pleasant surprise. The outside garden is so well maintained and clean. The common areas are well maintained and tidy as well. The staff who received us were kind (and I made the payment only in person although the reservation was made online a week ago). Keep in mind - you need to provide your card details to make a reservation (understandable because if you decide to cancel outside the period that they allow for cancellation, they should be able to charge you). The staff explained everything clearly. We enter the room and were so happy to see how clean the sheets were. The rooms were nice and warm. There was no loud noise from outside the rooms. The showers were not functional on our floors but the staff politely apologised for the inconvenience and also guided us on how to use the top floor showers. What was really helpful was that there was a notice inside the room attached to the backside of the main door explaining how to get to the top floor shower and apologising for the non functional shower on the floor that the room was on. Excellent work, I was mightily impressed. They also offer breakfast between 7.30-9.30. I highly recommend this stay and Iβll probably go there again next time.

First time staying in a hostel and will definitely not be the last. Great staff. Close to all the tourist attractions. Comfortable bunk beds + bedside light. Tesco round the corner that closes late + guests respectful of shared facilities. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
