   Nice hotel, large free car park, gym, pool, spa & lovely friendly staff. Now for the bad news, the restaurant is awful! Menu has been very limited for a few months now and what they do have is poorly cooked and doesn’t taste very good. Vastly overpriced and the bar prices are grossly inflated! I wouldn’t even bother eating there, as there is a nice pub ten minutes walk away. Although Breakfast is fine.

   Attended the Xmas party with some work colleagues. Worst experience ever. So unorganised partnered with rude staff. Soup was cold, sent back twice by myself and many other people had the same complaint. Ended up with a completely different flavour soup that had no flavour whatsoever and was very bland. Main course was turkey dinner with all the trimmings, again sent back twice as it was again cold. Even the young lad serving agreed that it was stone cold. This was after lots of us was told the main would be outstanding. Outstandingly awful maybe should have been the description. Then one of the managers Kim took the decision off her own back to then not send any other orders out the kitchen due to ‘technical difficulties’ and started serving up dessert when lots of people hadn’t even had a main course. Dessert was nice but I mean you can’t go wrong with a cold dessert as that’s how it’s meant to be. Our table and many others were offered pizza as an alternative which is a complete joke. £70 completely gone to waste and such an unpleasant experience. The manager behind the desk who wore a Xmas jumper had a terrible attitude and had spoken to many guests like something he stood in and lots of complaints have been made against him. He needs some training in customer service skills and basic manners. Never again would I attend one of these events and urge people to read the reviews as it seems like there’s a few similar complaints.

   Travelled from Cyprus to a surprise party. Decided to stay here as it was the closest to the venue. Looks a little dull from the outside, but don’t let that put you off. Inside was lovely and the staff were certainly warm and welcoming. Room was spotless and had everything you needed. We got back to the hotel just after midnight and the bar was still open, had a nightcap and went to bed. Breakfast was nice, no clear indication as to where to go first. But overall a good choice.

   Good example of a Holiday Inn. Nice staff and rooms are clean and modern enough. Breakfast staff in particular were very attentive and even though there was no boiler available to make tea, i was asked if i wanted tea or coffee when taken to my table and a pot of tea brought shortly afterwards. This is excellent and other Holiday Inn hotels should take note!

   Fantastic stay rooms we're warm and welcoming all the facilities that you would require. It was a shame that I wasn't able to make use of the gym facilities including the swimming pool and steam/ sauna with being a bit under the weather, but next time we will. The breakfast was perfect with plenty to choose from and the staff are very friendly and helpful could not fault them they even offered to help with a warm drink for the journey home to Cornwall that was a perfect touch to a perfect stay. Thank you to everyone for being so helpful we can not fault you The only fault was out of your control was the Electric Car charger was not working but there was plenty close by

   I have stayed in this hotel many times and every time we stay the customer service has always been AMAZING. The staff here go above and beyond to make your stay the best possible. I have stayed in many hotels all over the world including 5 star ones- I must say this is definitely amongst some of the best customer service I’ve received. Thank you to Katherine for a smooth check in. We had a little issue but Adam, Paula, & Louise really helped in sorting this out- thank you all. A special thanks and mention to Jaqueline from the restaurant/kitchen who is a real gem to your hotel. We will continue to keep coming here and would highly recommend this place to everyone.

   Room was a bit hot. Other than that really good. Used the restaurant for dinner, and attended an event in the evening. All went well. Staff are all nice. You have to book use of the pool. Luckily a family friend told us because the hotel didn't and a receptionist told us you didn't need to.

   We had a lovely 3 night stay here. The hotel is as you would expect for the price. We had no issues with breakfast or a request for more pillows. There was a wedding on our last night but did not hear anything from the party. Gym is good, pool is fine, but small. Very friendly staff. Good location for Liverpool and Manchester. Would stay again
