Great quiet place to stay. The owner and family are lovely. Really friendly and introduced themselves when I arrived. Supermarkets are close by and very clean room.
Great little place for our overnight stay. The building is beautifully built and I'd recommend taking some time to look around and appreciate the amazing craftsmanship that went into building the place. The host was very polite and friendly. Unfortunately we left quite early in the morning so couldn't say goodbye and thank you. Beautiful horses in the field next to the house. We would definitely stay again.
This was our third stay at Oak Mead. We just love it. It is a beautiful setting, very quiet and the accommodation is always clean and well maintained. Menna and Tom are always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend. We are looking forward to our next stay, which will be next year.
Very comfortable stay for a couple of days. All creature comforts and necessary equipment for us and our dog. Quite rural so some nice country walks.Host Menna, was very kind and helpful. Would definitely come back again for another visit.
My wife and I stayed here for a night and had the lower room. If you aren't expecting a resort with many amenities and just need a place to crash for the night while traveling through the UK this place is good. You have to drive down a long one lane road to get here which was enjoyable for us. I agree with other reviewers that the unit is attached to a main house and you can hear everything including conversations while staying here. Otherwise, hot water is plentiful and the surrounding area is tranquil and surrounded by nature. Our host was very nice and greeted us upon arrival.
