   I wasn’t happy with the service. I applied for a sponsorship licence with Richard. Their advert stated “no win, half pay back,” but when we signed the contract, it said that if the application was refused after the interview, they would not return any money. During the interview, all the wrong things came up — including issues with the company structure and the British director’s role. (Also, after our first refusal — which Richard himself said was due to a Home Office mistake — he advised us to reapply, and I made another half payment on top of the first one.) If you just need someone to submit the application on your behalf without giving advice on company structure or strategy, then they might be fine. However, I don’t think they have the capability to properly handle a sponsorship licence case, as our company structure was incorrect and we didn’t receive any proper guidance or corrections from Richard. Since our application was refused after the interview, we couldn’t get any money back. Communication was also an issue — you could only reach them by email and had to book calls 1–2 days in advance, which made the whole process slow, even just to submit the application. Overall, my experience wasn’t good, and I would not recommend their service.

   Richard was a good consultant who supported us. During our introductory telephone conversation he asked many questions about our situation, and our experience with the application process so far. We felt he was interested in us, not wanting to pull a fast one, whereas other companies I did not get the positive vibe. Throughout the application, apart from giving advice on further verification he also went above and beyond in supporting us when the Home Office had made an error and drafted letters for us. When the application was submitted and we eventually got a positive outcome, it was weird that we were no longer working together as he felt like a colleague not a solicitor. I did tell him I was really impressed with his service and that we would hire him again and I would pass on his details to family, friends and others, as we were happy with the service. Top class!!
