I went into the Richmond shop with a vague idea of what I wanted, knowing I wanted a new sofa in a bold colour. There’s a very large selection of colours and fabrics; of course not all styles come in every colour/fabric, but given the wide selection, it’s very likely you’ll find something you love. Fabiene greeted me when I got there but allowed me to peruse the showroom without fussing over me. The showroom is across a few floors so I enjoyed having the freedom to take my time, phone up friends for opinions, sit on everything, and explore my options. Fabiene is lovely, too. She creates a friendly sales atmosphere that will not make you feel any pressure to buy anything. Regarding the delivery window, one notable thing about delivery is that the timeline they quote of 8-10 weeks starts on the day of your access visit, and NOT on the day of your order. From the date of my virtual access visit, to the first delivery date offered, it was exactly 10 weeks (49 working days; 70 full days). I wasn’t able to accommodate the first delivery option offered, so the next option was an additional 6 days. For me, this was acceptable. It’s all in the fine print but very easy to miss this detail about the delivery timeline! The delivery experience was exceptional. I’d ordered a sofa and two bedside tables. Everything was carefully brought into my home, packaging removed, assembled where necessary, and the team took all the waste with them when they left. They were even patient enough with me to let me take a couple steps back to look at the sofa’s placement, and move the sofa the additional six inches to the left, and then two back again to the right… and then three inches back to the left lol. I had a great experience with Raft and I really love my furniture. I’ve already started planning the next purchase!

We were served by Fabiene and Eric at the Richmond store on Saturday and it was possibly the best sales experience we’ve ever experienced, regardless of what we were purchasing. The store room itself was stunning and from the second we arrived we were looked after brilliantly by both Fabiane and Eric. Fabiane was attentive without ever being pushy, and knows so much about the products offered. We felt very comfortable to make our purchase with her support. She also offered a box of toys to keep our two young children entertained (game changer!) and we were served a hot drink within minutes of entering the store. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Raft Richmond to anyone, and infact already have!

I have attended the Richmond store today to look at some furniture for the bedroom and I can say there is a vast amount of options at great prices. Fabiane and Ciler were very forth coming and extremely helpful, their customer service was very warm and welcoming and they explained all the different types of fabrics as well as the Furniture Protection with Castelan Group. They were professional, very knowledgeable and understanding with my requests. Can’t say a bad word about the store or the customer service I have received exceptional.

Raft Richmond Store. I have just received my gorgeous velvet modular sofa. Fabiane, Perla and Robert were fantastic throughout the entire process. They were happy to give a lot of practical advice regarding the shape and size of the sofa. They were efficient at sending me material samples and very patient while I chose the perfect colour to match my living space. The couch is truly luxurious - the most comfortable I have ever owned. In addition, The delivery process was smooth – an email to ask me if the delivery date was convenient and a telephone call on the day to let me know they were on their way. Michael and his colleague put the sofa together and explained the possible configurations. They also took all of the packaging away. I previously bought a traditional-style sofa for my father from the Richmond store and my son is currently choosing a style to suit his apartment. Thank you, team!

I ordered a sofa from the Richmond store around February (late February) - order was processed around the 1st of March and then I received my sofa with huge delay - what was supposed to be 8-10 weeks turned into 14 weeks. Even though the sofa was late and communication along the way was close to zero - I had to phone in about 4 times and walk into the store twice as well to get an update - the wait was worth it. The sofa is fantastic quality, very versatile, waterproof and stain-proof, just as advertised. I highly highly HIGHLY recommend investing more in customer services and making sure there is some sort of an automated way to send out updates - if a piece of furniture is delayed, I would rather know ahead of time than have to endlessly chase staff and ask for updates. I was lucky once to talk to a lovely lady in the Richmond store who filled me in, however as the deadline she gave me approached, I went back into the store and came across a very rude lad with long hair who dismissed anything my partner and I asked and just said he couldn’t find any notes on the system (although 2 weeks before, his colleague had no issue finding them.) Having to chase and constantly chase was sincerely annoying and ruining most of my experience shopping from Raft. Lovely sofa though! And so were the two guys from the delivery team!
