He went above and beyond to assist us without being at all pushy and his advice was appreciated. Very happy with our order of two king size beds and looking forward to receiving them. The one big thing that let Bensons down was that our order, which we waited 6 weeks for, was damaged at the depot and after paying the full balance, we were phoned to advise that the whole order would need to be re-ordered again...there was no stock at all that could be sent out. So we waited another 6 weeks. It did impact us a lot, as this furniture was for a new room, which we couldn't use for 3 months. We weren't offered any compensation. We could have gone elsewhere but really liked what we chose. The store staff were lovely but couldn't do anything and the delivery guys were excellent. But Bensons do need to carry some stock.
To be honest, rare now to shop other than online. However, felt it was important to test the mattress before buying. Such a pleasant experience, guided by a knowledgeable, helpful and extremely nice salesman, that a reminder of the benefits of 'real life' shopping. Both my husband and I enjoyed the experience, which we had anticipated as a hassle after trying to navigate the choice of mattresses online. What I particularly valued was that the salesman wasn't at all pushy, which always makes me want to turn tail and run. It really seemed that he wanted to help us above making a sale, which weirdly made me want to buy from him!
We visited the Enfield store on many occasions, we really wanted to get our new mattress right. We had several experiences with Mark and on every occasion he was absolutely amazing and knowledgeable. He listened to us and understood our needs and never pressured us. We were also greeted by Dilara who was also perfect and friendly in her services. We opted for a Tempur mattress and super king divan and Eve hybrid mattress for our 2 year old and a lovely velvet bed frame for his bed and after 30 days we decided the Tempur was not for us, as you have 40 days night comfort guarantee we went back to store and spoke with Mark. He did not make us feel uncomfortable once and again listened to us and gave us great advice and recommendations. We decided to go for the Sealy Posturepedic mattress as was around the same value. After a week on this mattress we are delighted we went with this and had changed our sleep completely. If you do not want pushy sales people and valuable advice I highly recommend this store and Mark as your first point of call. I have already recommended this store and Mark to our family and friends. A quality bed poorly packaged. I spent nearly £3000 on a bed, headboard and mattress and it arrived with cardboard corners in a thick plastic bag. It was delivered in rainy, windy conditions with a lot of dirt on the packaging. Not overly impressive.
Finance options are the best. Products excellent quality. Awful postponing delivery date by manufacturer as we receive our product 3 months after purchase. We claimed compensation already. One bar came bent from manufacturer which couldn't let us to place the screw safely in place for that part.
This is the second time I have used Bensons for Beds and I would always return. The staff member, Mark is professional and knowledgable always putting his customer first. I did not feel pressured just informed. I have recommended the store to my friend who also shopped at BFB. Not putting up with substandard mattresses ever again!
