Great visit to discuss a special chair for elderly relative. Kind staff who didnt mind being asked a lot of questions and made us a coffee too. Not pressured selling. Very relaxed Easy parking. Wide entrance and wheelchair friendly. Customer toilet available too.
I am deeply disappointed with my experience with Furniture Village. After spending over £10,000, I expected quality products and reliable customer support, but neither has been delivered. Every single item that arrived had some defect – from marked and used-looking furniture, to a bed that couldn’t be assembled due to faulty fittings, and most recently a wardrobe that wasn’t even the model we ordered. Despite emailing customer care on 23rd November, and repeatedly following up, I received no response. I was even assured that a replacement headboard would be arranged, but no update has been provided. The aftercare service has been shockingly poor. Products continued to be delivered even after I had clearly asked for everything to be put on hold until existing issues were resolved. What should have been an exciting furnishing experience has turned into regret and frustration. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Furniture Village.

Delivery was perfectly handled — punctual, careful, and efficient. Everything arrived in perfect condition, well-packaged and exactly as described. Furniture Village Tunbridge Wells stands out for its combination of luxury, comfort, and top-level customer care. It’s rare to find such dedication to both product quality and client satisfaction these days. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking to furnish their home with elegance and reliability.
This was my first experience in a Furniture Village and I was very impressed. The staff were incredibly helpful and not pushy like you get in other furniture shops. I’d like to particularly mention the black gentleman in the sharpe suite with glasses (whose name I’ve forgotten) and Richard Hutchins. Their attention to detail and customer service was brilliant. We decided to purchase a sofa from another store based on price but we wanted to acknowledge their good work - thankyou.

Waited 5 months for furniture. Paid in full day before delivery as requested. Day of delivery one item (the largest) undeliverable due to damage. One item delivered intact, the third item we realised was also damaged once unpacked. We have had no cushions delivered. We then waited weeks to find out what was going on and found out that we couldn't have new items as they didn't make the fabric anymore. We kept having to call up to find anything out, they were not keeping us in the loop. It was near Christmas as well and we had to ask for loan furniture which they did then provide for Christmas. We have now agreed to have the furniture repaired, which they wanted to store and repair the broken furniture at our house?! What?! Furniture Village still have our money and have given no update on what is going on. We have been told we can have a small amount of the money we've paid off, but have so far received no refund and to be honest given the inconvenience and poor customer service received its laughable. Worst customer service I have ever ever received.

Went to Furniture Village today and met Eric who helped us in our decision in purchasing a new suite of furniture, two sofas and two chairs to replace our suite we bought from Furniture Village twenty years ago. He was most helpful without being pushy with his bright sunny relaxed approach in guiding us In making our decision easy. We won’t hesitate in seeking him out on our next visit.
Nearly a year and still waiting for this furniture company to get a leather repair to a damaged Alexander James Sofa, They have passed over their responsibility to another company who are as equally as incompetent . They phoned me to say " I understand you have the leather to repair your sofa". I had no idea what they were talking about, what a joke! They put the phone down very quickly and hung up, thats the last I have heard 3 months ago. Be very very cautious when dealing with Furniture Village, this is how they treat a customer of over 10 years standing.
