   Although i have only been here 2 weeks the property seems a nice place with 2 good tenants that are very considerate and it looks like they take pride in keeping the property clean and well maintained, I don't know what the next few months will be like but if the first 2 weeks is anything to go by then it is going to be a stress free pleasurable few months providing we get like minded tenants the are considerate and respect there fellow housemates. Dealing with Peninsular Property and Kurtis and the team was really straightforward and hassle free and I hope this continues for the remainder of my contract.

   I have been a client of Peninsular since purchasing our property on the Wirral in 2017 and have received excellent service from them since then. All regular servicing requirements are undertaken with notice to me and all maintenance issues reported to me with quotes and quickly followed up and completed. They are rare in that they inspect the property every month and provide meter readings and a written report which my other agents do not and for this I give them top marks. All of the team are very friendly and quick to respond to any queries - I just cannot fault them.

   Re my 1 star review reply. You know exactly who I am. My surname is Leach and I’m not posting from a newly opened account. Yes it was raised with the property redress scheme and you chose not to pay, I chose to start court proceedings but you paid up before it got to court, so you do know who I am. I guess you still have the redress schemes report. So do I, if you still don’t know who I am I can always post it online for you to refresh your memory.

   Avoid this company. My experience with them was horrendous. Even lied to the property ombudsman but eventually paid what they owed just before the case went to court. Seems karma came back to bite you in February Mr Joe Martin-Bindley.

   I was asked by someone from Peninsular Property for more information than just a star rating, so here goes: I was a tenant of a flat managed by Peninsular Property from May 2018 until March 2020, and often had difficulty getting in touch with them or getting a straight answer on anything, and got messed around repeatedly by them and their contractors when work needed to be done. I was left without hot water for a week when the boiler broke, and was forced to chase up every time an appointment was missed. Another time I had a hole in my kitchen ceiling, plaster everywhere, and no electricity in several rooms due to a water leak which tripped a breaker. It took hours for Peninsular's handyman to show up - when he did, he ripped out the light fitting, left water and broken plaster all over the kitchen, no working lights, and promised to be back first thing the next morning. In fact, he wasn't back for several days because he said Peninsular had sent him to do other jobs. I took time off work and rearranged shifts at short notice to let in Peninsular's workmen multiple times (at their request) for them not to show up. I have no idea why someone from Peninsular couldn't be there to let in the workmen themselves. Anytime anything went wrong, they never took responsibility and always put the blame onto the landlord or their own contractors, despite the fact they were ultimately responsible as letting agents and property managers. Soon after the water leak/electrics which took several weeks to fix, the landlord took over the management of the flats himself and I never had a problem that wasn't fixed quickly, and I found the landlord to be very open and honest with me. I heard later that Peninsular Property told the landlord that many of the problems I kept chasing them about such as damp, leaks, and falling plaster had been fixed, when they had in fact either been half-arsed or not touched at all. I didn't leave a review at the time, but I was reminded to leave one by their recent appearance in the local paper about one of the owners Joe Martin-Bindley being charged with fraud, among other offences, which will see him face a prison sentence. I thought they were just disorganised and incompetent because they seemed pleasant enough in person, but in fact members of the company were conning people the whole time. Honestly, I'm amazed that anyone from Peninsular bothered to respond to my one star review considering it's currently in liquidation according to the local press and companies house. Although there's a new company set up under Claire Martin-Bindley's name which shares a home and office address, which seems strange.
