Although we understand we sold and bought our properties during the pandemic, the solicitors at Taylor Emmet were very slack from our perspective. It took on average sometimes almost two days for an answer to very simple questions, trying to get in touch was very difficult and we have only received our documents for the purchase a couple of days ago. That happened over a year and a half ago. It is mind boggling that it took this long, but also at the same time not really: these people need pushing and distracting from their routine of seemingly rather preferring to drink cups of tea rather than doing their job.
Sally and her team were so great with managing our recent purchase and sale. Ellen Martin in particular was so great with keeping myself and my partner informed. There were a few occasions when the sellers solicitors were not responding back to queries but Sally and her team kept chasing and made sure our sale was completed in a timely manner.
