A great set of solicitors! SSB are the third set of solicitors to deal with my claim since the first set were terrible and the second set went into administration. SSB have always been really helpful during whatβs been a stressful time for me and they have always kept me informed. I have been a client of SSB for approximately one year, my claims process is now nearing the end. Thanks to all of your staff SSB - from the very helpful telephonists to my professional claims handlers Chris and then Kate!

Wasted months and months of my time with my PCP claim, βmoving things forwardβ, requesting documents, and telling me I was nearly at the stage of an outcomeβ¦..then to send me an email deciding to just drop my claim but of course they have another company they are happy to transfer me too. Such a fix, just selling peopleβs details/claims and moving money around for the quickest and easiest pay cheque. Do not trust, were never professional and kept spelling my name and address wrong also, must be run by school kids.

Absolutely terrible they don't know how to communicate at all. My claim is simple as the other driver has admitted liability, but still I'm waiting. I have had about 4 different solicitors that say we are now looking after your claim. Then nothing!! Been to the doctor's and they keep sending out appointments . I would advoid this as it's not professional at all. Been over 5 month's and I'm still at the beginning of the claim. Discusted in them .

My Plevin Claim SSB Law are handling my Plevin Claim. I did not contact them. They contacted me. Explained what Plevin was and I went ahead on a no win no fee basis. Initially all was very good. Hence the two stars for that. As the claim went on I found that if I did not telephone, I had no idea where my claim was at. Every twelve weeks or so I would telephone. Eventually this turned to emailing them instead. There were a couple of occasions where I would receive a phone call back. On one of these occasions I asked realistically how much I should expect to receive as settlement. The response I got was somewhere in the region of Β£4,500 of which I could expect to receive around Β£2,250. Not bad I thought and continued to let it tick along. About six weeks ago I was told it had been handed over to the litigation department which meant the office side of things would no longer be dealing with it. Patrick was very nice and explained what stage we were at and that there was finally light at the end of the tunnel. Then today I received the phone call that was supposed to make the last 18 months worthwhile. An offer in settlement of my claim. Not anything near Β£4,500 or even Β£2,250β¦..No, the value of my claim being paid to me wasβ¦..Β£70! Been reward peanuts but they still took money out of the tiny amount I was award for their fee. Now while SSB Law can not be held accountable for the value of my claim. They can be held accountable for the amount that they estimated. Why tell me a figure as high as Β£4,500 when they actually did not have a clue until it reached the stage that I am currently at? I have probably spent half of that Β£50 in calls to their offices. I suffer with anxiety, depression and a chronic medical condition. The whole thing has left a very sour taste in my mouth. If I had known at the start that this could possibly be the outcome I may not have gone ahead or if when asked I was told it could be as low as Β£50 as high as Β£5,000, today would not have come as such a shock. My review may not address the complaints of others here but I do think that SSB Law should tell their staff to be mindful of what they tell clients, especially in the current cost of living crisis. I had several people in the office contacting me during these proceedings so cannot pinpoint the person who gave me the figures. It would be better if one person in the office dealt with a clients claim instead of a few. So as it stands I feel very upset and quite a bit angry. Date of experience: 19 September 2023

Claim passed to this company. They added all sorts of additional fees on top of an insurance policy which was approximately 33% of the claim which was payable regardless. Tried to cancel the claim but they are uncontactable. READ THE SMALL PRINT WITH THESE CHARLATANS

Have actually sent me an agreement to use their services in a Plevin claim with my signature copied and pasted onto it. Beware of this contract as their services aren't free. I have complained to the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Please be wary of this company. All their 5 start reviews have appeared recently and most only have one review. Also anyone thinking about taking a cavity claim to court should be aware that they will probably be liable for the costs if they lose which is more than likely. I know a woman who now has a Β£19,000 charge on her house because of this. She is going to be forced to sell her home if she doesnt pay it.

I was put through to this company by National Accident Helpline. I would be wary of using them, I still haven't heard back from them with final details of a court case and a new member had to be bought into the case, I think he tried his best, but had to pick up the pieces of the case last minute. It was all a nightmare for me and has caused such a lot of stress and anxiety. I think it depends on the type of help you need, as to their level of expertise, but they certainly handled mine pretty poorly. Ask many questions and don't be passed around the company as I was.
