Disappointed - I booked 4 tickets online for Home Alone & text the cinema to advise that I was recovering from brain surgery & still vulnerable so wanted to ask if my prebooked four seats could be reserved at the back (so I could go in last & leave first). The reply I received advised the film was a sell out (which I was aware of & the reason I text) & seats were first come first served, meaning I would have to queue up outside in the cold & then enter along with everyone else. I am not trying to act precious, but I have been undergoing brain surgeries & still vulnerable so wanted to just take care. I'm also disappointed as I have volunteered at the cinema for a year until I went off sick 10 months ago to have my surgeries, whilst I didn't expect any favours a little bit of compassion & understanding would have been gratefully received. We ended up going elsewhere were we could prebook seats.

It feels like stepping back in time at The Crosby Plaza, and it's easy to see why: the refurbishment is impressive. The building is a stunning Art Deco structure that I recommend visiting even if you're not there to watch a film. The staff are also very welcoming and friendly. Overall, a fantastic place.

Fab, gorgeously preserved Art Deco cinema, with friendly and approachable staff, clean and nicely laid out screens and a very powerful, up to date sound system. Just here temporarily from out of town, I would definitely recommend it over the soulless modern cinemas in L1, if you're over this part of Liverpool. Great!

Been here twice in a few days, to see the short films in the World Ocean Festival and to see the Coral film and Q&A. Love this place! Great community enterprise with incredibly helpful and friendly volunteers/ staff who made each visit an absolute pleasure. There’s limited parking adjacent to the cinema, which was ideal when I came with my mum who has some mobility issues. Comfy reclining seats downstairs were also an unexpected bonus! Lovely 1930s/ art deco vibe inside with lots of plush redness and classic film posters. Will defo be back again soon ❤️

Staff are super friendly. Place was really clean. Great value for money. Highly recommend over the big chain cinemas.

Nice cinema, went to see Matilda the Musical there today. They do nice nachos :) Taking one star off because some people in front of me started taking Snapchat pictures of the film and it was putting me off. A member of staff was there and knew what was going on but didn't do anything about it and just stood there and watched. The film was great anyway and I would come here again.

This incredible art deco cinema is worth visiting just for the architecture and design. On top of that, they show new releases as well as older classics, all for a very reasonable price, at least half of what you'd expect to pay at Odeon or Vue. The staff are friendly and well presented. The cherry (flavouring) on top is that they serve Tango Iceblast, and for much cheaper than other venues. A wonderful cinema!

Really really lovely vintage cinema!! Large seats at the back of the circle. We were there to watch operation mincemeat. Cheapest cinema I've ever seen as well. Worth travelling too. Will defo be back again.
