we visited this Vue whilst on holiday in North Wales in January 2025. it compares poorly in comparison to our home town Vue in York which has a bar serving coffee and alcoholic drinks as well as the standard pop corn, nacho, pick n mix etc offering AND recliners in every screen. We love going to the cinema and want to support the traditional film industry, but we do not enjoy going if its less comfortable than our sofa at home. In addition the film we saw was on Screen 4 which seemed to be a small screen than what we are used to. Overall this cinema really needs upgrading with recliners and I am surprised it hasn’t been, given all the other Vues across the country that I have been to have! No complaints about the staff though - everyone very polite. PS we paid for VIP seats which just means you get a slightly wider seat with a bigger armrest.

We visited today, we enjoyed the movie speak no evil, seats were comfortable. Karen at the front counter was very nice and helpful. And Sean took us to our seats was friendly and chatty.

The prices seem to have come down and are quite reasonable now (March 2023). I've not been for years because of the cost. The Vue is extremely clean, exceptionally comfortable, and a great venue. I do miss bigger screens, though. But I suppose those days are far behind us. Well worth a visit.

We went to see Avatar - way of the water, which was brilliant and well worth the wait... BUT, there was NO heating. It was -4⁰ outside and the temperature inside was no different. I could see my breath it was that cold. It didn't make for a comfortable or enjoyable experience. Also there was over 30 minutes of adverts and trailers before the film even started. Talk about long winded. Good film, rubbish venue. I could wait to get out into a warm car.

Absolutly shocking, went for a birthday celebration the room was freezing we had to put our coats on. Complained to a memeber of staff to be told 'yeah theres a problem with the heater in screen 1' We should of been pre warned and asked if we still wanted to watch the film, we had paid for 7 of us aswell

Great film Elvis Presley, we were in number 5. Unfortunately I kept getting the smell of wet dog, the seats in front of us were broken so we had to move. Take your own snacks and drinks, its ridiculously expensive and they closed at ten tho the film didnt finish till 10.50pm.

Good place. Staff have been friendly everytime I've been there. The place does look a bit run down. But hey, welcome to North Wales. Food was served fast and the cinema screen was well looked after and setup pretty well.

We went to watch Jumanji 2 last night ( which we enjoyed ) and if I'm honest the cinema was a bit of a let down. Whilst the foyer was clean and modern looking and the toilets too. Parking was easy and free after 5 pm. The actual auditorium was the poor bit and lets be honest it's the important bit when going to watch a film. The seats are way past there best thay were creaky and squeeky and the upholstery on about 10 % of the seats was ruined. This cinema is in dire need of investment.

Strange. Web site says place opens at 10am. Went to buy tickets and it was closed. Didn't open until 13.30. Pretty decent cinema tho.
