   We had a wonderful experience with Past Productions 'Samuel Pepys' arrived and gave the children a real taste of what life would have been like in 1666. There were several different activities throughout the day to keep them engaged throughout. Robbie was easy going and happy to accommodate our day timings, and was extremely supportive and inclusive of children's varying needs. We will definitely be back next year, for several past production workshops.

   Robert was a brilliant host for our recent Victorian Workshop. He had the children engaged and excited all day. They particularly enjoyed the artefacts and the drama activity which allowed them to empathise with the lives of Victorian children. The children learned lots more facts even after studying this topic for six weeks.

   Francesca has visited our school twice now to deliver the Tudor workshop and both times she has been nothing short of amazing! This really is a fantastic, little company. They’re so easy and friendly to deal with, everything is very well organised and the cost is very reasonable - much less than the price for a trip out and the children learn much more! Francesca made both visits brilliant for our Year 5 children and the mix of drama activities, historical facts, Tudor dancing, sketching and holding artefacts meant there was something for everyone to really get into. We’re definitely booking the Tudor experience for next year and we’re also looking to see which other topics we can book Past Productions for. I can’t praise them enough!

   Past Productions provided an fabulous one day Crime and Punishment workshop to our UKS2 class. The children had a great time handling artefacts, role playing and playing games to deepen their knowledge and understanding of this topic. Huge thanks to performer Luke, who inspired the children with his enthusiasm for the subject and his endless, amazing facts. Highly recommended.

   An absolutely fantastic workshop for our Year 3s! We have asked Robbie to come in for several years now and he gets better and better every year. He packs so many interesting topics in such a variety of teaching methods throughout the day. An incredibly engaging day with drama, immersion and fun. We look forward to his visit every year and use it to support the majority of our topic as he is so thorough- thank you Robbie!

   We had Robert visit our school as a Mayan warrior for a day and the children had an amazing time. They had the opportunity to learn about and explore many different elements of Mayan culture, taking part in drama, quizzes, maths activities and there was even an opportunity for them to handle and sketch artefacts. They loved every minute of it and Robert was brilliant at engaging a rather shy class and bringing them out of their shells with some brilliant drama. They learnt so much from their workshop and it was a wonderful start to our topic. Would definitely recommend Past Productions and we will be inviting them back again.

   A fabulous day! Our year 6 children were hooked and engaged throughout the whole day. We are a school with great diversity and we have a significant number of children with additional needs. Robbie has great subject knowledge and plans tasks and activities that facilitated engagement of all the children. The drama tasks were well structured and created great energy. All the artefacts and resources inspired great dialogue and questions. This was a great way to launch our History theme and foster confidence in children's learning.

   We booked the Mayans Day Workshop for our Year 5 students to round off their topic and what a treat this was. From the first initial meeting of the Mayan Warrior, Big Nose, the children were hooked. We loved how engaging, fun and inclusive the activities were. The children responded brilliantly to Robert, who was fantastic! We’ve always struggled to book any visitors/visits for this topic, but now that we’ve found Past Productions, we’re not letting them go and have already booked up again for next year. Brilliant value for money - I would highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you for an amazing day!

   I booked the Ancient Maya workshop for my Year 4 class (13/5/2022), and we LOVED it! From start to finish the children were engaged, and excited about every activity.
