If you have a choice of using this hospital or somewhere else, choose somewhere else. That decision may save your life. And I am not exaggerating. On two occasions, doing very simple procedures, they screwed up badly, ending up in the emergency room. Another occasion, I was taken there by ambulance in a legit “need emergency treatment today”, medical emergency, and they said they would send me an outpatient appointment in weeks or months time. Out of the entire LNWH group, I have only met one doctor that has my trust. Everyone else are the dregs of the medical industry. And they literally could not care less. Complaints are ignored. You are on your own. They can injure you, or worse, and theres zero accountability.

Male doctors touch famale breast and trying to speak about his life. The male doctor touched my breasts when he shouldn't have because he didn't do an ultrasound. Then there was an ultrasound, done by women. Why did he even touch me? To traumatize me? And in the end he still wanted to talk and told me where he was from. I sat in line for two hours and he made me wait so he could tell me about his life. I'm not ready to listen to every old black man, I'm a young white woman. I think he can hire a private psychologist and not waste my time.

I was referred to St Marks late November 2024 and was offered an appointment with the surgeon mid January 2025. I thought this was a super quick referral time. I saw Mr Kapil Sahnan and from the moment I stepped into the room I felt at ease. My appointment was on time and lasted longer than I expected. At no point did I feel rushed. Mr Kapil Sahnan has the most calming voice and explains everything in simple terms but detailed. He took on board my PTSD from previous surgery elsewhere and showed empathy. It's a rare find to find a surgeon with his knowledge and skill set combined with kindness, empathy and interest in the patient. I had my surgery last week and can honestly say that every member of staff I met were lovely, professional, and kind when I was worried. Mr Kapil Sahnan's medical team are as amazing as him. A special shout out to the anaesthetists and theatre staff. I felt really safe and looked after at all times. I found the hospital to be spotless. I was on Gladstone 2 post op and everyone who looked after me were so kind. I found the ward to be organised, even the food wasn't too bad! I had robotic surgery and would highly recommend this hospital.

My experience is solely based on the occupational health department based off of St. Mark's The staff were lovely and very much precise with their directions. I was out of there in no time. I am simply leaving this review as a direction for anyone visiting for the first time and feeling overwhelmed because it honestly is a massive establishment. Generally your last bus should take you right outside their doorstep and all you need to do is go inside and get things sorted. Hope this was helpful to all the IMG's out there!

I don't know where to begin. Over 7 years the admin staff here have become more and more unprofessional and rude and lacking attentiveness and focus. I received my paperwork only to find wrong patient number wrong details that itself is data protection. The reception at endoscopy the admin staff are so rude not professional I think they need to go back to get some training. I always say if u don't like your job leave. St marks consultants nurses are great Dr akbar Dr Hart are amazing the others not so much. Northwick have better admin staff and central middlesex. St marks needs to have a restructuring programme start fresh with new staff and give staff thorough training. A smile goes a long way politeness kindness these are basic patient relationship. When speaking to them on the phone they don't sound happy. I asked one of staff their full name by law they have too... they are rude so please read the bad reviews base they are all right correct in everyday. So today I received my appt for the new hospital I'm getting transferred too I have to excellent service by the new hospital. But St marks admin back office GOT IT WRONG AGAIN THEY GAVE MY OLD ADDRESS TO THEM WHEN MY NEW ADDRESS I WAS RECEIVING APPTS PRIOR WHEN SEEN AT ST MARKS ONKY CAN IMAGINE WHO THEY ARE THAT DONE THAT. ADMIN BACK OFFICE NEED TO FOCUS BE MORE ATTENTIVE ATTENTION TO DETAIL WHEN IT COMES TO PAPERWORK INPUTTING INFORMATION AS THEY HAVE MANY TIMES GAVE WRONG HOSPITAL NUMBER ON PAPERWORK WRONG ADDRESS ALL OF WHICH IS GDPR DATA PROTECTION.

Was a great hospital but unfortunately due to the workload it has gone downhill. Now no better that my local hospital. Doctors have two minuets to see you and rush you out of the door, that is if you can get a face to face appointment. I was discharged after 30 years for asking for a local endoscopy as the parking at St Marks is vanishing fast under development!

I have to admit the bad reviews written, are correct. The standards of st marks reception staff back office staff has tremendously dropped over 10 years. My mother in law is patient here, the experience we had couple months ago, i cant even write its that bad. I written a formal complaint nothing in response. When we arrived, the receptionist i believe her name is Tia she seemed like she was in a different place she was day dreaming, her friend a colleague was walking back forth on the mobile, back office staff so loud, when i tried to get reception attention mandy i believe her name is interrupted with attitude. Usually there is gentleman at front and he always polite and friendly. i spoken to secretary even she has left the trust high staff turnover. My mother in law has been attending this hospital for 15 years in those years whilst i been accompanying her never experienced rudeness attitude staff has not attention to detail its like they don't care. St marks now has to be worst trust when it comes to admin staff, even on telephone they are rude, whole department needs to looked at reviewed. PLEASE AVOID THIS HOSPITAL THE STAFF DO NOT CARE.

Unfortunately the hospital itself scores very low on cleanliness and after care. My partner came into Northwick Park through the A&E department and was triaged to the surgical assessment ward. Although very busy, the team were incredibly kind and tried to keep me comfortable whilst they assessed my problem. It was diagnosed that it was a twisted bowel and I was taken to the Frederick Salmon Ward at St Marks Hospital. The nurses and the bedside care received was excellent. My partner had previously been left traumatised from being hospitalised in another London hospital. She has now had her faith restored with the NHS Healthcare due to the excellent patient care received at the Frederick Salmon Ward, St Marks Hospital at Northwick Park. 5 stars

I was at the hospital for a Dexa Scan which was on Level 9. The scan staff were both helpful and professional so no problems there but the building itself is just plain horrible. There is no Reception desk or area by the front door. No-one to greet you or direct you. Eventually found the lifts one of which was broken. There was masking tape on a broken window and the floors were poorly kept. On Level 9 finding the cupboard which was the Dexa Scan was tricky but again no Reception desk or friendly staff. It seems the building has been run down which is sad but this really was a depressing experience.
