Great playground with water splash area on the river. Picnic tables and benches. Plenty of areas for sun and shade. Good clean toilets. Clever duck feed dispensing machine to feed ducks. Well worth a visit.

Visited on 12/07/25. Great place to take the younger kids. We took our two and a half yr old grandson, he loved it. Free parking and entry to the aqua park. Only criticism was the grass needed cutting. Defo worth visiting.

My kids were happy to play here for a few hours. Water play right next to other playground stuff, tables, a bit of grass for sitting, and it was all fenced in. There was an ice cream truck there as well. Outside the fence there's more grassy area and paths for walking. *Car Park* there is a car park, but due to some road construction/closure, Google maps had me a bit turned around. We ended up parking one street up and walked through a path next to Wilmoor Hall, but as of 16/8/24 the road closure wouldn't have affected us parking on Sandy Lane.

Often forgotten small parking spot for the lower river dee, away from the city . Also in the summer , the small ferry operates across the river to the meadows- the last piece of common grazing ground left from the medieval ages .. a small play attraction is near by , which is handy for small kids in the summer. The car park however, is used by many people small boats to launch the craft, so it does get full rather quickly.

Fantastic day out with the little ones ona s hot day, my 1 year old had such a great time, it gets busy on weends If Really Warm but it's still excellent. Public toilets there, a play ground and an ice cream van that parks right outside on busy days.

When the water is on and the sun is out it's a great place to spend a few hours. However when I last visited the water had broken down and the caretaker couldn't get it working. At least there is a playground, but it's getting very tatty now and could do with some investment.
