   I visited yesterday and got surprised with the views, it’s by the Chester Canal and a much softer place for cycling. There are plenty of chairs and tables to chill.

   Summer solstice in what I know as the Country park (soon to have a wetland centre). The day had been cloudy but the sun appeared briefly before setting on the longest day as can be seen in this photograph. The Country park is a beautiful, fairly untouched, area of wildflowers and birdlife. I hope it retains this untouched feel when the visitor centre arrives. I am sure the wetland area will enhance the Country park.
