I wish I could give 0 stars to be quite honest. We just had our one year review for our son with a lady named Kelly, and despite my son apparently progressing extremely well, I was more or less told off for opting for spoon feeding (well mixed feeding) over primarily baby led weaning. I wasn’t listened to at all when I said that I do in fact give my son textured foods and do let him try to feed himself, but instead made to feel like I was failing as a mum. I also said that while we were doing our best to give him as much of a variety as he would allow with food, he would be starting at nursery in the next few weeks and they had already assured me that he’ll settle into new routines with sleep and food so I wasn’t worrying just yet. She once again tried to tell me off for ‘relying’ on them. I fail to see where I said I was relying on them, just that I was going to use the help of trained professionals to help us make some new transitions that we can (obviously) continue at home. I wasn’t asked how either of us as parents were doing despite my saying that my husband struggles with the sleep deprivation. Isn’t it part of the job to check in with the parents? Apparently not, the best thing to do is to meet you for 5 minutes, make some snap judgements and then send the parents off feeling like they’re in the wrong and don’t know what’s best for their child. As angry as I initially was, I’m more upset that people like this can abuse this responsibility. The worst part of the review was that while we were being lectured, not one piece of advice was given. I could have forgiven her attitude if it was coupled with a ‘have you tried this’ approach. Extremely disappointed.
Saw my midwife here and now go to baby stay and play. If you want to go to a group turn up about 15mins early or you might get turned away!

Location is ideal as it 5 minutes drive to where we live, centre is on a quiet road small but the space isn't wasted. Staff seem friendly.
Santa Claus made a visit today. The children sang song for him and he had a wonderful time. Many thanks to the brilliant staff.
