I have no idea how this property has a “pleasant” scoring on booking. It was horrendous. I booked 2 family rooms and a triple room. All were full of mould, one smelt of sewage, the beds were mouldy, cracked windows, curtains (if they can even class as curtains) falling down, dead bugs on the windowsill and thick dirt, cobwebs everywhere, filthy handprints all over the walls, bits all over the floor, damaged furniture, amazed the rooms aren’t even being dusted or hoovered inbetween guests! No type of cleanliness whatsoever. I took some photos as we were astonished they aren’t ashamed to be allowing people in the rooms in the state they are, I can’t even upload them all as there’s so many, but I hope it gives you an idea of what it really looks like as it’s nothing like the pictures advertised. I have never left a bad review before but this was dreadful. We were not the only people staying who thought the same. I’d never go back and I’d advise you to pay for somewhere else. A poor couple with 2 children left at the same time as us and said they couldn’t get anywhere else either and looked as soon as they arrived, they were even contemplating sleeping in their car for the night because of how disgusting the place was inside. (I should have known to be concerned when we pulled up at 10pm and they told us to prepare ourselves for going inside). The owners should be ashamed charging people to stay there. Your feet need cleaning on the way out, not the way in. I have always said as long as somewhere I stay is clean (just a standard hoovered and dusted kind of clean hasn’t got to be fancy), with a bed and shower you can make do for the night - this place wasn’t even capable of that basic standard. 0 stars.

I had high hopes for this stay, but unfortunately it was a disappointment. The second I walked into the room, I started feeling sick – there was visible mold on the walls and on the bed boards, and the air felt stagnant with no fan to help circulate it. The rooms felt muggy and unclean. We ended up leaving and finding a new place to stay that night. The man who checked us in was kind, and I appreciated his demeanor. I wish I had remembered to take photos of the inside before we left, but here are a few from the outside to set the mood. I also couldn’t help but wonder if they even change the sheets. If they do, they’re grey in color and honestly need to be thrown out.

Absolutely horrible hosts. My daughter and I broken down on way up, advised them we would be a little later. Had to put the slim tyre on so had to drive a little slower, hit road closures and diversions, then can to a stand still due to an accident. Phone them again to advise them . They mocked us and laughed at our misfortune and said they did not care they wanted to sleep so they would not open the door to us! We had to find somewhere else to stay, as did not want to risk going there and them not letting us in especially how utterly uncompsssionate they was to us and there mocking

The family who ones the property don’t realise that they accommodating. So from 5-6am they children (3-5) messing about the property, shouting, screaming etc. Shower was broken. On the return at around 3-4am the entrance door was locked, so I couldn’t open with the key, I phoned the number next to the front door and the old man was slightly rude on the phone. Anyway, he came to open the door and was blaming someone for locking the door, but in the end locked the door as well. First stay, last stay

I booked for 6 adults and 2 Children. They gave me 3 rooms but each room has 1 double bed. There is no place for child( no child bed) Coustermer service is very very poor. No shombo shower gel in the bathroom. If any one book the room in the lodge you are going to wast your money and happiness

I booked one room for two nights. On first call I informed to Parminder that we are 4 adults and 2 kids. We booked a triple ensuite room and he confirmed that he is okay if we are. However after seeing my message he said he will not be able to accomodate. Hence we upgraded to his dingy room which has huge sound problem due to Pump. That's very cranky. Initially he said it's mild, however it's was horrifying. Though I will thank him to accommodate 6 of us in that room. The basic problems with properties a) no mirror b) No tap to get fresh warer. You need to buy or use washroom tap to filter your water. c) The kettle was filthy. You can't make tea from that kettle Now the surprise is yet to come. While check out he mentioned he gave us 6 towels and now 5 remaining only. Really, do we really need towels from your lodge. He also said he will charge me £10 for the same which is unjustified. He did not count in front of us that how many towel he handed over to us. This was never expected and super humiliating as well.

It was a decent stayed but not worth the price of £50 for a double bed and no TV as I was promised for the stayed. I was told by the old man I can't have a tv because he needed to keep it for himself for the night so he would pleasure himself instead of guests disappointing Lastly I didn't like how previous guests have been smoking weed. Also be careful for your safety the fire alarms are broken and he told me £500 is too much to fix it

For 50 GBP a night, this is a comfortable Bread n Breakfast run a family. Beds were cozy though basic. Bathroom was nice but a bit small and lacked shampoo though soap was given. Water was missing and had to be asked for. It was easy to access the location through public transport. It's a good place to stay alone, cheap for a couple of nights
